No problem germinating, but I have a problem with sprouting. The strain is a personal cross.. Won't go into details with that.

What temps in your opinion are best for sprouting after germinating..

Does it vary from strain to strain?

Have you ever rescued a germination?

What about moisture?

I can fail a thousand times on this.. Started with multiples at 26c. Then 27c. Then 28c.. 30c seems to be working but seems hot after germ... Please give me your ideas.. BTW.. I do the paper towel in the plates technique. I use a temp probe to monitor temps in between plates. (Accurate +- 1 deg -32 to 210c) PH is at 6.0 or around. Run off from the dreaded Fox Farms is at 6.4 ppm 900. I use spring water at 120ppm million at a 5.8 ph. I up with drained water.

If your germinating them and putting them in fox farm soil at such a young age, that could be your problem. What happens after they sprout? How do they look after they pop out the soil? I don't believe strain has any thing to do with it, a seed is a seed. All seeds germ the same and most need the same attention to make it.

Thanks for your reply. Fox Farm is a last resort. I was starting them in rockwol (However you spell it).. Same results. I get the little white tails and then just stops. These seeds are old. Maybe two years old. I think that maybe the endo sperm has dried?? And has nothing to eat?? I can change to newer beans, But I really want these to pop. Could be the age but I figure if it was the age they wouldn't germinate period. Are you ph adjusting the water before you soak your cubes? Your cubes could be to wet. Are you keeping them warm? Try starting some in some soil after you see tails and see what happens.
