New Grower Full Duplexs FF feed schdule + FFOF

Hey there Major! :D

I have merged your two threads as they were more or less the same questions or direction, I hope that's ok with you. It just helps keep things tidy.

And I see you got answered by the Pros. Or are in the process of...Sweet. Good luck and let us know if you need anything at all, bro. :toke: :check:

Thanks Squid, Will do. Sorry about asking twice, I was just gonna give up on finding Black Kow used in FD's soil mix, and try FFOF but the decided to ask about subbing Black Kow with the closest i could find to it witch is susitna organics. But the title wasn't right for the new question.

I looked more closely to the compost analyses (PDF) scrolled all the way down to bottom (pages are sideways) and it says .5-.5-.5 www.susitnaorganics.com

What do you think? Should i Change anything to FD's measurements, ingriedients, and FF trio feed schedule, useing susitna organics compost?

No problem man. I'm gonna leave this one to the Organics guys as far as all of that. They should be around before too long. Hold tight and take care. :smokebuds:

The more I read, the more it looks like this may be your first grow. If that is the case (or close), starting out with a recipe is not your best bet, IMHO, especially when you are having to substitute amendments from the get-go. The susitna should work with the FF trio...

If you are pretty new, you can get a lot more of the right kind of help if you ask your questions or start your growlog in the New Growers forum. It is well staffed with assigned teachers and experienced growers to offer assistance, so you're in the right place. :peace:

I agree. I will take it from there if you wanna start 'my' way. And by that I mean there are a few different methods I suggest depending on what's going on and how new you are to growing.

I have a more regular method, which is starting from new as far as mix and nutes.
And then I have a modified version if you've already started with something.
And then I can always just wing it and figure out what's best for you, but that always requires help from you too. :D
And if I can't answer it or figure it out, which does happen, I will direct you to the best possible person here for what's going on.

Thanks Squid. I am fairly new to this. I'm about to finish 2nd single plant grow. With the two I just kind of winged it with General Hydroponics nutes, FFOF, and ppm meter. I have already bought the FF trio nutes for 3rd grow.
Yes, I am interested in hearing about your more regular methods, if you have one involving FF trio that would be nice. Thanks you.

I don't use FF nutes, but I bet you can still follow FD's nute schedule. But my method would be pretty simple.

Get Promix BX or HP(Add additional perlite if you get the BX)
Fill and Water Final Pot with Ph 6.0 PLAIN water(You can even add a wee bit of molasses on the initial watering to get the microbes going) A trick I learned from Jackal. :D
Germinate and plant your bean 1/2 inch down and loosely cover with plastic or some type of humidity dome
If you started in final pot I am thinking it'll be anywhere from 1-3 Gallons. You most likely won't need to water for several days. Maybe even over a week. Check the weight before you water and after to get an idea of when to water again. You don't want it completely light and dry but way more towards that end than not.
Use plain water until day 11 start nutes at 1/4 strength or as FDs schedule says.
Don't fuss with it try and do anything crazy. If you have lights and good temps, humidity and airflow your plants WILL grow. :smokebuds:

One thing to remember about Fd's feed schedule-i believe it ends on week 6,i found i had to continue/modify it to get my first girls to the finish line.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the EJ Amazon Bloom mix. Phoenix may, if not someone should come by that does. :D
