Don't be concerned about bottom (say bottom 20%) leaves. The very bottom leaves are not all that productive, not getting much light, are older and have done their job. Not much lost by removing them, particularly those having substantially turned yellow, already giving up their juices/stored nutes to other parts of the plant.
Many (or seemingly most) growers believe/assert that removing older, larger, lower, shaded, etc. fan leaves results in more plant 'energy' being directed to upper actively growing parts, including buds. In the extreme, some growers periodically do schazzing, even removing all leaves with any significant stem, and claim benefits from this.
