Gastro Jr. Tester

To me looks like normal old(er) low/shaded, no longer productive/needed, leaf yellowing. So there is likely not a nutrient problem.

Many would have removed all those lower leaves by now. Consider at least removing the very bottom leaves.
That’s what I was thinking as this seems to happen often as it gets older. Thanks! Still learning. I’ve been cleaning more and more just always worried about stressing autos but they seem to be handling pretty well. How would they feed themselves without the lower leaves? Would it pull from the top if I remove?

Don't be concerned about bottom (say bottom 20%) leaves. The very bottom leaves are not all that productive, not getting much light, are older and have done their job. Not much lost by removing them, particularly those having substantially turned yellow, already giving up their juices/stored nutes to other parts of the plant.

Many (or seemingly most) growers believe/assert that removing older, larger, lower, shaded, etc. fan leaves results in more plant 'energy' being directed to upper actively growing parts, including buds. In the extreme, some growers periodically do schazzing, even removing all leaves with any significant stem, and claim benefits from this.

Okay cool. I did remove many branches early on and lower fan leaves. I could’ve done more for sure tho. Each grow I’ve been removing more and more trying to figure it out. I’ll try remove a little more on this next grow.

There is no good reason to avoid doing some defoliation on this plant now, much less put off doing a "little more" to the next grow.. At the minimum, remove bottom advanced yellowing leaves.

And get some additional opinions, likely to include suggesting even more radical action.

Yeah I hear you. I did remove all the yellow and will continue to open it up. Just had to tie up many branches due to hanging down already. Hasn’t even started to swell yet she’s a beast.

Gastro Jr getting closer! Day 72. This thing is a beast! Taking over my 4x4! Very strong strawberry terps. Skunky, fruity goodness!

Gonna be a good producer with dense nugs I can already tell.

Gastro Jr. Day 86. Not so much a junior. This thing is taking over my 4x4! Frosty and smells of a beautiful overripe strawberry floral skunk! It’s nice!

Still waiting on more amber trichomes but getting closer. I need to clean it up I know but hoping to chop within a few days.

Wow so much potential with this if you really train it. I saw someone else pull 1.12lb off one!

Gastro Jr by Laughing Hyena Seeds.

Gastro Pop (Compound Genetics) x Strawberry Fog (Wicked Pissah)

This thing has a very Overripe Strawberry, Floral, Skunk and mostly Gas!!! ⛽️ on the nose. 👃

Taste as of now is very similar to smell with maybe a slight bubblegum and it hits good! Super potent and fast effects!

Once cured I’ll post a smoke report but holy moly not only is this dense and frosty but it smells dank! I smoked some and it’s a nice potent indica!

4x4, AC Infinity Evo6, 5 gallon pot, 20/4, RO, Mega Crop part 1, OAC Calmag, Hand watered once a day.

Normally I only use RO but because I rent I can’t install a filter I decided to try half tap/half RO about 3 weeks before chop and ran into salt build up like I did in the past with only tap. I was refilling RO in town every 10 days. Switched to making distilled water and can’t tell a difference from RO with my other plants and this one finished strong once changes were made.

Definitely give this one a try you won’t be disappointed!!
