New Grower G'Day from OZ. 1st time grower here going to use the Auto-Pot Hydro System

Hi everyone, I'm Smeghead. This will be my first grow ever and I've decided to do a fast Auto Jack 47 and after that one is harvested do a regular feminized seed grow so I"ll have some flowers while my main crop grows.

I don't even have seeds yet but I'm trying to find a bank that has this or similar AK47 strain (for pain relief) auto flowering feminized seeds. I'm trying to go low key by using a Visa gift card and name of the former tenant of this rental unit.

First of all, any suggestions on a seed bank where I can get some Auto AK47 fems where I can use a gift card?

2ndly, I'm going to use the Auto-Pot Hydroponic System. What kind of substrate do I want to use with autos?

Then, I would like to continue this thread as a journal and place to ask questions.

Instead of using the former tenant name, i suggest you use a company name as the package is dropped in your mail-box, and company-packages are more secure (imho).

For the substrate you can use clay balls, coconut coir or vermiculite.

For lighting, you can use LED (100w - 150w LED), you can also use CFLs (plenty of high-powered ones ranging from 28w to 150w), HPS (They go from 150w to 1000w, produce a lot of heat)
For your first ever grow, i probably suggest LED or CFL, then slowly move into HPS lighting.

Remember not to use foil as the reflective material in your grow room as this can cause hot-spots and damage plants, use another material such as Mylar or you can paint your grow-room in white, works good too.

Also don't forget to have a in-take and out-take fan for fresh-air, and have a fan on your seedling to strengthen the stem during the early stages of your life.

I've had 4 or so orders with Pick and Mix Cannabis Seeds | Marijuana Seeds | Weed Seeds | Bonza Seedbank and have never had a missing order. Takes about 7 days to get here. (3/4 of the orders went through customs and made it through without any issues.)

Hi there,

I've always just ordered with my own ****** account. Never had any issues. It's not like you've ordered a gram of cocaine, it's only a few seeds. It's very hard for the police to incriminate you unless you sign for the package when they deliver it (which you should NEVER do). I too, also order all my seeds to my grow-address and never had any issues. Even though others may disagree with me, I'll just say, use your real debit card & address, but a fake company name (one of the ones i suggested, or make up one.) not your real name, so if in the event customs do seize the package, you can say someone hacked into your computer remotely, stole your credit-card details and used them to order marijuana seeds. Most customs officers are lazy, and sometimes will even let the package "slide" and go through as they have to fill in quite a lot of paperwork when seizing contraband.

In-relation to stealth. I've always just used the 2nd cheapest shipping/stealth method with Bonzaseeds. Always got through without any issues. I've heard that customs tend to pick-up more on the packages that have been stealth-ed than the ones that aren't.

There is very very little to worry about when ordering a few seeds (I'd say 1 or 2) the maximum penalty for growing 2 plants for personal use (as clearly i can see it will be used for personal use) is just a small warning, no court, no fine - you're hydro kit & grow equipment also get seized. You might not even get a warning if you can provide them evidence it was to treat a medical condition.

For high CBD and high THC i recommend Dutch Passion Blueberry auto. THC is near 14% and CBD is somewhere near 0.1 - 0.3%. If you want high cbd, it is best to harvest later (1-3 weeks late) so you can have more CBD content. DP Blueberry auto is also known to yield extremely well, up to 100 grams for a newbie, and 200-250 grams for experienced growers.

Only issue with DP Blueberry auto is that the seeds are (from personal experience) extremely hard to germinate. Once germinated and sprouted the seedling grow extremely fast, but germination & sprouting are a challenge - just follow a few guides and you'll be sweet.

Biggest thing I can tell those who are entering the wonderful world of gonja ranching is get a ph meter. Doesn't have to be expensive, just has to work. If your doing hydro get a ppm meter as well. If you run into problems they will be your best friend. Keep it green my friend.

Not to sure Gift Cards work unless its for the place your ordering from. Thats if your from the US. From what ive seen in some other post's gift cards from the US. can only be used in the US. Correct me if Im wrong cause thats the method I would prefer to use my self.

I got 2x Auto Jack AK Fems and 2x Dutch Passion Blueberry Fems. This is my first grow so I will try the AK first and any tips or tricks to get the Blueberry to germinate would be swell.

Planning on getting this grow tent next:

Now, how should I germinate the blueberries? Cup of tap or distilled water? Wet paper towels? After the seeds sprout, drop them in rockwool and place in the growing container? The ones I have are 7 liters. Then, do I mix coco and perlite? What's the ratio?

Then, what kind of nutes should I feed them? Miracle Gro? I've seen some interesting youtube videos on that. The Auto-Pot system I have is self-watering but I shouldn't mix any nutes into the reservoir, right? Feed them once or twice a week with a quarter or a half the amount of nutes that it says on the box?

What should I prepare for next?

ETA: Thinking back, should I change the blueberry to an Auto AK47 Fem with at 40-50g yield? Get one with potency and one with high yield?

The Blueberry from Dutch Passion is very, very, very high in potency and yields very nice. (have pulled 3 ounces from my first grow, now pulling close to 5-6, and aiming for 12+ on my next.)

I grow in soil and don't really know much about hydroponic as i prefer soil over hydro.

The blueberries are, mind my french, a bitch to germinate. I've had some grow tap-roots, planted, and they just died for no reason what so ever. I've had some fail to properly develop and just die without properly germinating. I've had some grow and sprout and just stop growing.

They produce dense, rock-like buds. Very nice. I've vowed to only grow from DP now.

Also just to add, auto blueberry is extremely sensitive to nutrients. Can kill her easily.

Start with a 1/8th of what the recommend strength is at week 4. Then slowly week by week move up to 1/7th, 1/6th, 1/5th etc..
