Indoor Germinating Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough

Just be aware of this:

Breeding with S1's can create some incredibly unstable genetics in the way of hermi flowers. That's not a trait you want to breed into an autoflower, it might be worth starting with this plant instead of strawberry cough...

It's a strawberry skunky sativa from Swiss breeding genetics. The Dutch Passion SC is not true SC as bred by Kyle Kushman in the States. The true and pure "Strawberry Cough" is known as KKSC or Kyle Kushman Strawberry Cough, a cross of a Vermont indica known as Straberry Fields that he was gifted as a clone, and his own cut of Haze #1. The resulting F1 pheno he kept (and subsequently refined) is known as KKSC and is a clone-only strain.

DP's SC is a cross between an Erdbeer strain and an unknown indica: http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Strawberry_Cough/Dutch_Passion/

Starting with Erdbeer, you'd get the tall and sativa characteristics. Find a fruity male covered in resin and cross that to the female autoflower of your choice (magic dragon would be mine) and you'd be creating a hybrid breeding line that doesn't carry the imperfections of the S1 plant NOR does it contain the additional indica...the autoflower you use (again, Mossy would be my go-to) brings the small stature and fast flowering. By F3 you should have autoflowering strawberry hybrids, selecting through breeding to find the one that smells like fruit.

*another thought would be to cross Erdbeer with your best C99 auto...try to bring some serious potency into it and keep the trippiness of the sativa genes. The biggest complaint I've seen about Erdbeer is it's low potency. A good auto-widow might do that also.

Nice info low_and_slow, I didn't realize that about DP's SC. I just assumed they were the original for some reason.

Don't get me wrong...I think it's a legit plant, I put a bean in a cup 2 days ago! I love that it gets HUGE and BUSHY and it absolutely stinks like dirty fruity sex, lol. Great plant, by all accounts except as a mom; you definitely want to find a non-Feminized mom.

You are right about the huge and bushy part. I have three growing right now and one pheno is humongous. She will be cloned tomorrow before hitting the flower tent!

Since you seem to know about genetics, do you see any reason not to use colloidal silver on one of the clones in an effort to produce some viable seeds?

Sorry to hack up your post TD. Just very curious.

im not breeding the SC with a auto its getting bred with a blue dream and also doing a blue berry headband

wont be growing any auto's once my current crop is done, until fall after I harvest my outdoor crops....Then I will grow more TD and probably the new auto Seymour is growing im sure it will be a great strain...

Yep, if that BD and SC come out good.......holy shiiite is that going to be some awesome smoke. Some blueberry, some strawberry, may as well grind that up in some vanilla ice cream and make a milk shake!

I got some regular seeds of the blue dream from a friend in cali. because they don't sell reg. BD I could only find fem. but he breeds his own
