New Grower Germinating problem...

Hello!

I grow a Dutch Passion Colour mix 7 and some GHxC99xC99.
I'm useing a paper towel methot, what always work for me till now.
One if my Think Different, 1 StarRyder and 1 GH is cracked, and show a little root, but it stops. 1 SR and 2 GH are doesn't cracked. They are in the papertowell since 4-5 days. Can I do something to give them life? Thx
(2 autoextreme and 1 TD is done in 2 days)

Just keep them moist,warm,and in the dark and wait it out.Give them another five days and if ther not out then I would say there not going to germ.

Did you soak the seeds for 24-48 hours before placing them in the paper towels? This help speed up the process but as namvet says some seeds can take 1-2 weeks to get going. Patience is key.

iv had 100% success straight into damp paper

When I soak for even 12 hours they all usually pop in a day once in paper towel. I place them on top of oven while is on the warm setting. Just my lil way I made up.

Yes, I soak them before I put in the papper towel. I get 3 new Think Different... I hope they will be work...

Learned this the hard way lol. Just put them in a damp paper towel not soaked. Warm area between 2 glass saucer plates. Dark area. GL buddy.

Aloha, The damp paper towel method works. I usually wipe my beans with a light soap water to kill off any mites or fungus spores; Then you can place them in a container between damp paper towels I bought a cheapo lED light bulb 14 watt max- screw into a standard
lamp place the container ontop for heat i have %100 success withing the first 3 day Hope this helps Shoots.

Yeah same here, i guess a lot depends on the quality of the seeds. The older they are the less chance they have of germinating. I've known of a few seed banks in the past that have sold really old beans.

I normally take some soil in a small cup and water it down good. Let it sit for a day and drain. Then I just put the beans just under the top of the soil. Works pretty good.
