Been a grower for most 50 years, gave one auto freebie a try but not impressed. I understand things have come a ways since that experience. Fill me in on what's up with the auto's now, and who has a good selection of decent yielders.

Hi medic, how long since you grew the auto and what was it?
Just by reading a selection of these forum posts and stickies should tell you all you need to know. If you been growing for fifty years, we should be listening to you. I'm not sure what you want us to say. Sorry for being a bit cynical but that is a strange first post.

Glad to have you Medic :Sharing One:and now adays bro you can take your pick all the strains that i have grow from High Rise to Dutch Passion to Stitches Super auto's .....shit just about all the breeders here have some great gear just check the grow journals....:Hookah:i just harvested some Stone Dragon from High Rise and let me tell it has to be my best auto grow yet WORD!!! ....i didn't do a journal on it but i have some Pic if you like to see hit me up and il be glad to show you ......
Glad to see ya on here!!!! Check out the journals, I have learned much since I have started back in Feb. This place is full of knowledge and for the most part full of nice people!!!

And yep, autos are most likely a whole different critter, if it's been a few years.
I would take a look at the smoke reports https://www.autoflower.org/f12/
Good detailed breakdowns on modern genetics. Time from germ to harvest, smoke quality, effect, as well as lighting, soil and nutes used.
Take a peek, find some strains you like, and check out the grow journals for even more detail.
Also check out this months BOM/POM, https://www.autoflower.org/f30/march-2014-bom-pom-month-30588.html
Some stellar gals in there, as well as in past nominations.

Not trying to be a snob or anything like that everyone, just caught up in life and had me on the run. I did make a choice of strain for my first real auto grow, Dutch Passion an all time favorite breeder and my favorite strain, Blueberry. Appears from some of the information at DP's website that I think I can do a halfway decent job of growing these sweeties. Still have to do some research, want to try the TLO technique and see what happens. Thought I'd start them indoors and finish them in my greenhouse, should finish out in July sometime which should give me plenty of hrs of light. Going to be interesting and I'll keep you up to date with pics. Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure you'll get your fill of questions along the way.
