Outdoor grow. 6-7 weeks budding now. 9-litre pots ( going to use 30 litres next grow)
Medium soil.south East Queensland subtropical
I couldn't find any grow journals for this strain outdoors so if anyone knows of any please let know.
Upper buds are milky now but lower still very clear. Hubby needs high thc for PTSD.
How much longer do you guys think?

You have the option of staggering the harvest, so the lower part can continue to get cloudy trichomes. Grow some CBD plants. That will help the PTSD. Does either indica or sativa give him anxiety? I am curious how his body handles consistent high percentage thc. The psychological side.

Until recently he was only having whatever he could buy from the black market. I tried him on 99% cbd crystals and those didn't work. Stevia doesn't seem strong enough. His PTSD is from military service. Lost most of his men. He's been on cannabis now for nearly 20 years. Only time physiological effects have been an issue was about a year and a half ago he stopped taking cannabis and had a complete breakdown resulting in a concussion where he got total amnesia. This in turn triggered his PTSD because I didn't know he had served or was taking cannabis. The phc ward at the hospital had a really rough time with his flashbacks until I managed to get him some smoke.
I hope this helps some vets. Please don't hide it from your families. We understand you need it.

The VA has taken too long to introduce marijuana/cbd as a serious tool of help. I know a lot of the kids from Afghanistan/Iraq were not allowed, and had to sign, that they will only take drugs that the VA dispenses. It's an asinine sutuation, though I think that is starting to change thank goodness.

The isolates can be hit and miss for people. I cut it with my buds. I also use cbd oil and wax through a vape. That has more of an impact on my daily use. I get more energy from those two as well.

The fact that we can lose our dream memories after consistent use, should have made the VA really sit up and take notice and take it seriously. No more violence in dreams is sooooooooooooooo damn wonderful.

It's a world wide problem. My hubby is a New Zealander and I know plenty of VET here in Australia that need cannabis.
Edibles are good and mean families can have holidays without fear of a PTSD attack.

He's not a big fan of couch lock. Likes a mellow out chill with a bit if a buzz at the start

Take the top half of the plant when you have all milky & some amber... that should give him the mellow chill.

General rule of thumb... The more amber the more chill... till you hit couch lock at higher % amber.

Then take the bottom half when ripe.

Try to find full spectrum CBD... (cbd with all the terps and only minute amounts of thc)
It can and has worked wonders for many with PTSD

The crystals / isolates are generally not used for that... around here at least.

Peace
