Lighting GN Rebel serie!

Its fine to ask bro,but your asking for detailed product info on a product that's not released yet.And like GN says,a lot of R&D goes into this and the full details will come once its released to stop others copying before that :smokebuds:

Here are some Rebels in action to wet your lips. 2 DP Auto White Widow under 1 upgraded MS0006 (190w) at 18/6 (24/0 for veg). Resin production and smell are intense.

How can something still in testing be patented? If the info GN have kindly supplied isn't to you satisfaction I suggest you contact them directly with your complaint.

I'm not sure you could patent a spectrum though & The LEDs are made by Phillips, could u you patent that?

Great Info ..Im looking forward to the new upgrade ..The Rebels boast over 100% higher radiometric output per watt than say our latest..WOW thats amazing to get that type of jump in such a short time!

When we release the upgrades the part numbers and technical information will be available. There is no point in getting a patent for the Gerber file or holding plate as this is a demonstration of components at the very top end of the market with no innovation apart from the spectrum research on our behalf. We originally made them as just a thank you to existing GN customers not something we really looked at selling on a commercial scale. On the release I will make the Gerber file available with the part numbers so anyone looking to make this for their Modular unit, Apollo, bulldog, bud booster etc can make this for themselves. The protection we have on this product is its unlikely anyone will make and sell it with no profit margin and when we release the part details this will be very clear. Please remember not only does the unit have 28 of the best LED's in the world per module and 2 non Rebel IR, it also has 30 of the most efficient secondary optics which for example mouser are currently selling a £1.82 a piece. The thermal interface material we are using has great characteristics, it costs much more than thermal grease though offers much better conductivity in the X and Y axis. Then you have the holding plate which is CNC milled from 8mm thick aluminium. Finally your cost to lazer cut the MCPCB and SMD assemble the rebels..... honestly GN customers are getting a fantastic option at the best price we could haggle all the components down to. You don't have to upgrade the full unit at once or even upgrade at all. When building a computer not everyone buys the very top end Intel processor's over lesser versions or an AMD but it makes sense to have the option!
