It doesn't really help mate
It seems I have only got modules, no thermal interface on front plates which leaves the unit open to dust, humidity etc. and looks ugly.
I really can't believe it
Hopefully TaNg will show up soon and shine a light
My unit is already open :stoneslap:

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing but the rebels don't have any kind of face plate to them so they do look slightly exposed compared to the original design which looks bang tidy.. I'm sure once GN actually releases Rebel Modules they will adress this issue - I can only imagine it was a decision made to help keep costs down?
Hey all, just a quick message to everyone with the Rebel upgrades. We will have a 'How to Install Guide' on the GN site very soon. We are resolving a few issues with our website, so we will most likely post it on the AFN first. We can provide a light shaping diffuser for free when they arrive in the new year to seal the unit. However the modules have an environment protection coating which protects them from humidity and dust so they are ready and safe to use. The LSD does lower the output by 8% but the light distribution is more uniform and the lights can be used closer to the canopy. In the upgrade pack you should have the modules, a cordless esd wrist band (please wear this when handling the modules), the thermal interface material and 2 sets of screws with insulating washers attached. The modules have been designed to work with all existing modular series units and as the LED and optic dimensions differ its not going to be flush with the top of newer modular units however this does not effect the units performance or life span. That said you can raise the heatsinks on the newer models and with the LSD seal the unit but this will all be explained in the installation guide. Finally we have introduced a new driver to the modular series as a standard from the start of December, this will allow upgrades to be installed individually rather than in pairs however the units before December will still need to be installed in pairs. We are back open on the 27th of December if you need further info. Happy holidays to everyone on the AFN and thank you so much to everyone in the GN section for their support this year.

My fault bro I promised GN I would strip one of mine down for you guys on here to see,it's the least I could do after they let me play with them early but I've just been way to busy to even get a look in. I will get round to it first thing in the new year.
You won't be seeing any LSDs on my Rebels I would rather keep the 8%.
