DAY 34 today

Found a tiny little pistil (3-5mm long) on the 6th node yesterday. So, it's female , now just gotta wait and hope it's also an auto. If it's not auto, I'll take a clone from it and keep it for a future run since right now I'm focused on having autos only. If I notice it does start flowering, I'll hook it up to the Autopot system... for now I'll just keep hand-watering once everyday or so. Did a bit of defoliating today since it's so dense.

Day 41 today.

I got tired of waiting... so I put this plant on a 12/12 sched yesterday. The mini pistil that had appeared a week or so ago on the 6th node has not developed one bit, while 4 new mini pistils did pop-up over this weekend on the 8th node. So just to try to be sure she does start flowering (while risking waisting a week of not giving her enough light as she could take), I plan to leave it in this light sched for at least a week and then bring her back to 18/6. During this 12/12 week she'll be getting a lower DLI (aprox 15) compared to the >30 DLI she had been exposed to during the past couple weeks. This last week I did lots of defoliating, and during that week I had some issues that lead to not watering for almost 4 days which reflected on some lower leaves but she seems to have picked-up.

DAY 48 today - After 1 week of 12/12, definitely flowering now. Will put it back on 18/6 tomorrow, proper DLI and hookup to the Autopot system.

DAY 55

Did a heavy defoliation and removed some low branches and switched her schedule to 18/6 last Thursday, and she's now under a 15-35 DLI, and she seems to have kept flowering since then! Also I activated the Autopot system for her that day with reservoir tank at a total EC of 0.9-1.0 with a pH between 5.75-6.3, which don't seem to bother her.

Day 61

Root rot also caught up with this plant... I stubbornly used my tap water knowing it could happen, so MY BAD! Good thing is I caught it on time and took her off the Autopot system ASAP and started hand watering again... today runoff didn't smell like eggs and tops that had gotten very light are showing more green today... phew! I will keep hand watering the plant and only use the Autopot sytem for when i can't pay attention to the plant more than 2 days in a row and make sure to use RO water with it.
