One thing I recently learned is that if you put a lot of pot into the crock, enough floats on the surface to hold in the heat and make it boil.
Which would decarb it. Since I am primarily interested in it as medicine, I try to keep the amount of THC low. That way I can take more than if I decarbed. The boiling decarbs it over time. I had let it go overnight, so it had been boiling for hours.
The stems have nothing, there is no point in using them. After a couple hours, I whack at it with a hand blender. Got mine at a yard sale. I have a variety of novelty ice cube trays. Right now I am making sea shell pot butter cubes. One is enough to make a batch of brownies. Gives me a consistent, easy to use dose.
What I do is buy a Ghiradelli brownie mix. If you were going to make brownies from scratch, you would melt 4 oz baking chocolate into a stick of butter. That is what I do, and then put the pot butter in that. Makes for a very chocolately brownie that does a good job of hiding the pot flavor. I usually put walnuts in, love walnuts.
Btw, my crockpot is older than yours, I found an original Crock Pot from the early 70s, but completely unused, in a Goodwill for 2 bucks. Works great.
