Have some experience with indoor (20x Feminized Chronic and Sensi Star in soil, area 120x120cm under 650W), so far so good. Ready to harvest in a month.

As the summer is coming I planing to build a foil 3x10x2m greenhouse in the garden.
(As I live in the boonies it should be fine-no neighbors)

I will create my own soil mixture as almost everything is readily available around me. Cow, horse, chicken manure, the rest to mix and achieve quality soil I can get as well.

Now: To use to fullest our summer period (from 15 April to 15 October), I am thinking to go with AF Northern Lights with double the crop. First crop: staring seeds indoor 1 April under CFL for 2 weeks then moved them to green house 1 May, let them go crazy (Ph 6,5, nutes etc). When ready harvest them and place second batch that I already started indoor as well 2 weeks prior finishing the first crop. So, it will be: get the first plants out, work over the soil and plant the second crop from already 2 week seedlings. This way I will definitely hit just the nice weather and will not have to worry about early frost.

At this time I am not asking about ventilation, nutes, or water ph, but I would like to know how will AF Northern Light strain react to be in the greenhouse and all the light/sun blasting. Will the girls grow and flower with just natural light without any 18/6 or 12/12 change?

I am after to produce mostly Rick Simpson Oil so I need Indica and highest THC possible, but still AF.

Any input is greatly appreciated as I am new to greenhouse, RSO and AF.

TIA

They should grow fine in a green house as long as they get plenty of sun. They don't need 12/12 to flower and will flower on there own.If you live in a area where there are a lot of cloudy days they might not grow as well as they should.

AWESOME - thanks namvet25 - I really needed to hear that (love it)

Sun, clouds all will happen here. But one thing I know for sure - any natural light (even when cloudy) is better then artificial light. I just tried experiment few days ago. I have about 40 clones from my Chronic and Sensi Star, so I took 6 and place them in the room on the window silt and OH man did they took of. They going crazy, complete explosion. In couple of days they are 300% better and bigger then the one still under CFL T5. So I am sure they will LOVE the green house environment ....

BTW: as the greenhouse is 3m wide and 10 m long, I would like to go with 1m on each site for plants and 1 m in middle to walk and look after them.

Right now I am growing 18 plants indoor under 650w in area of 120x120cm (very TIGHT-but hoping for 400g), so I see no problem to grow 9 plants in 100x100cm in greenhouse and let them really go nuts and hopefully I will be rewarded with same or better harvest ..................

I live in center/east of Czech R. - what about you? (just to compare)

Hello and welcome to AFN! Hope you will post pics of your grow! For security reasons, its not good to post your location. maybe just a latitude, that way growing comparison is somewhat meaningful.

Yes I agree, that's why I was so general (central/east in CZ) and I also just asked for general location just to compare weather conditions..

Yes, I have pictures of my present grow - do you like to see them?

yes we all would enjoy your pics. If you would like to see my White Widow Autos, here is a link to my grow journal: https://www.autoflower.org/f44/first-grow-journey-learning-hope-28341-13.html
