Week 4.. Day 28 above soil..

Right after the last post I gave both a top dress of a few tbs of craft blend and turned on the res for the slow poke, lol. Should be good to go for water only the rest of the way. The normal girl has perfect structure, but the node spacing is large.. But she is always praying. She's at the start of bud formation, and we should be seeing trichs bu the next update. Slow poke is a little behind still.. She's still making her bud sets and is still a bit smaller in size. Still great structure, with better node spacing than the normal girl. Her main cola will be a big ole sphere, while the normal girls main cola will be one big nug. A third of the way done already! Growing can be super easy if you let it be!!

Week 5... Day 36

Trichs are forming nicely. It's light dusting right now, but it there, lol. Both plants are pretty much at the start of true flowering now and you can get a better idea of how the colas will form. The normal girl will fill out better than I thought. At this point in the grow I like to play a little mind game called "watch the main stem disapear". In the next few weeks I'm hoping that the main stem won't be visible on either plant. Both seem to be done stretching as well. No complaints and no issues to speak of as of yet. Knock on wood.

Week 6.... Day 44

All is well... Both plants are super healthy and ready to strut their stuff. The normal girl has entered the swell stage.. The slow poke is slightly behind. The normal girl has a stem rub that is definitely a hybrid stink. Kinda leans to tyrone stomper.. The slow pokes stem rub is classic double grape. So is her structure now that I think about it. I cant complain about either pheno! Random fun fact.. We (humans) know far more about what is above our heads, than we do about what is below our feet... Crazy right. Anywho.. Here are some pics from today! Those main stems are disappearing!!

Week 7.. Day 50

I'd say less than a month to go on the normal girl.. The slow poke might finish around the same time, but my experience with auto pots is that plants tend to run longer with them. Still on cruise control.. Just watching them fatten up. The normal girl is 33 inches tall from soil, and the slow poke girl is 29 inches tall from soil. The normal girl is in twice as much soil than than slow poke, and will probably yield twice as much. The normal girl isn't super frosty, but is super oily to the touch. The slow poke is a good amount of both. It's looking like at this rate, I've got about 4 more updates left!

Week 8, Day 4.. 60 days above soil..

Nothing much to report unfortunately.. All is still well and we are just cruising to harvest. I did a slight defoliation just to improve air flow and expose a few buds to more light. The normal girl started showing a little nutrient burn on a few leaves here and there.. I gave her a watering with plain water mixed with coconut water yesterday and will just let her ride out the next 2 weeks or so. The slow poke girl is fine as well... She showed a tad bit of nutrient burn as well, but far less. I can barely see it in the pics. I had to add stakes to the lowers of the normal girl because the buds are starting to weigh down the branches.

Week 9.. Day 66...

Welp.. The nornal girl is saying that she is in her harvest window! That happened pretty quickly, lol. She's starting to fade out now.. It just started this week. Trichs are mostly milky right now. I think I'll chop on day 70.

The slow poke is just about done as well. I let the autopot res empty and started hand watering a couple of days ago. I don't think this one will have much fade, if any at all. I. Not sure when I'll chop the slow poke.. If not this weekend, then next weekend for sure.
