Night Owl Seeds Great Owl Off - Mango Isle F2, Dessert Isle, Cookies n’ Creamix, Mandela Effect

This will be my thread for the Great Owl Off.

Gear:
3x3x7 tent
Mars FC-3000
AC Infinity Cloudline T4

Medium:
Buildasoil LOS 3.0
Will top dress as needed with Craft Blend, Build-Flower, and Build-a-Bloom. Also have aloe, coconut water and the Rootwise trio: Mycrobe Complete, Enzyme Elixer, Bio-Phos.

They will all go in 3 gallon fabric pots. I’m debating between 4-5 containers.

I recently bought a PAR meter (Photobio LGBQM2) so plan to run lights based on DLI.
EDIT: I am running lights 24hrs. Current DLI is around 10. I’m going to bump that up to 12 is the next day or two.

I popped two of each in Buildasoil Light Mix and will choose the best looking ones when it’s time to transplant:

The Mandela Effect (only one has sprouted
Dessert Isle
Cookies n’ Creamix

7 of 8 have sprouted and today is Day 2 from sprout.

Day 6. Probably transplanting sometime in the next week. I’m going to have to pick my 4 winners soon. I hate pitching perfectly good seedlings, but I found it’s easier to waste a seed than delay replanting if a seed doesn’t germinate or comes up looking wonky. I had one Mandela Effect not germinate, but the remaining 7 all look pretty good.

Day 9. I am transplanting tomorrow. Roots are peaking through the bottom of the cups of all the plants.

Well shit!! Totally unexpected change of plans. My 3x3 is set up in a laundry room located off a guest bed room. Turns out my in-laws are coming and staying with us for about a month and will be using that room.

They know I have my MMJ card and grow, but it’s not going to work growing in that space while they are here.

I have nowhere else where the 3x3 will fit, so I am downsizing the grow to a 2x2 and HLG 100 3000k. Kind of sucks!!! But oh well….shit happens! . At least I don’t have to scrap the whole grow!

Anyways, today is day 12 from sprout.
Two days ago I transplanted a Mandela Effect (top) and Dessert Isle (bottom) in the 3 gallons. I also transplanted one of the Cookies n’ Creamix in a 1/2 gallon. I’m going to keep the other solo cups going for a bit, but they may get tossed if I run out of room. The solos are 2 Mango Isle F2’s and 1 Cookies n’ Creamix.

When I transplanted, I watered in some aloe powder, soy aminos, Rootwise Mycrobe Complete and Bio-Catlyst enzymes.

I’ll probably do a light top dress in a couple weeks, but I’m going to keep in mostly plain ph’d water only for the time being.

Also, DLI is currently at 17 at the height of the 2 plants in the 3 gallon pots. I’m increasing it a little every day.

Dessert Isle

Cookies n’ Creamix in the 1/2 gallon. This one is growing super quick. Very vigorous. I’ve grown a bunch of grape strains recently or else I would have grown this out in the 3 gallon.
