Night Owl Seeds Great Owl Off - Mango Isle F2, Dessert Isle, Cookies n’ Creamix, Mandela Effect

Day 62 from sprout of my Nightowl grow. All 3 gals the flowers are growing noticeably bigger and denser by the day. The Dessert Isle and Mandela Effect are smelling similar with DI more sweet tropical fruit and ME sour tropical fruit. Cookies n’ Creamix has strong cookie funk and burnt rubber.

Cookies N’ Creamix is going to finish earliest by the looks of it. I’m going to make the “two more weeks” call on it. The other two maybe 3-4 weeks.

Day 64 from sprout. Here are a couple pics of The Mandela Effect and Dessert Isle in the 2x2.

I raised the light and lowered the DLI from about 55 to 45 in the center of the tent at the top of the canopy. This seems to have stopped the spotted yellowing that popped up on the top fan leaves on both plants.

The PAR meter was not cheap, but it’s been super useful and insightful.

I gave both the Dessert Isle and Mandela Effect a final, small handful of Build-a-Flower. I am also still giving coconut water, soy aminos, Rootwise Bio-Phos, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, and Build-a-Bloom once a week. I’ll keep that up through the end

I have also upped my watering. Both in the 3 gallon pots are getting around 2000ml every other day and the Cookies n’ Creamix in the 1/2 gallon is getting 700ml every day. They are lapping it up and the buds are really starting to swell. The Dessert Isle is going to be a beast!:smoking:

All day 72 from sprout. The Cookies n’ Creamix in the 1/2 gallon is going to come down this week. I’m watching too many sugar leaves drying out/curling up and it’s already lost it’s fans so she’s spent. I’m seeing maybe 5% amber, so close enough. Plus I want to get the small one out of the way so I can use this tent to dry one of the bigger plants. Smelling of Cookie Funk. Definitely some similarities to Forum Stomper.

Dessert Isle and Mandela Effect are doing great. I believe I will probably break my personal best yield in a 2x2 this go around. Both are super chunky and dense. Aromas are really developing. Dessert Isle has lots of vanilla and mango on the nose. Mandela Effect smells slightly similar, but it’s sour/tart mango vs sweet.

They have a couple weeks left, but the end is in sight. I think the Mandela Effect will finish before Dessert Isle.

I took down my cookie and creamix today at day 85, she was still mostly green but was about 20 percent amber. Frosty as hell. Saved all the trim on this girl

How does yours smell? Daz in the strain description said there could be some grapey notes. I don’t detect any fruit or sweetness on mine. She is definitely the funky almost savory end of Cookies. Which I’m cool with since I’ve goy two other fruity ones coming down soon.

You know I did not notice. I had taken down a few plants and was in trim hell.

Here are my final intact pictures of the Cookies n’ Creamix in a little half gallon container. Today is day 74 from sprout and I plan to chop tonight. It’s a hair early, but close enough and I’m going to need that space soon.

This one started as a complete afterthought but I’m glad I hung on to it. It was an extra seedling in a solo cup. I had a small amount of soil leftover - just enough to fill in the 1/2 gal pot so I said screw it and shoved it in the tent. I didn’t give it as much TLC as the bigger plants I’ve got going, but it’s going to give me some nice funky herb. Can’t wait to give it a taste.

I’ll post up a review after the dry and a couple weeks of cure.

OK. Mandela Effect and Dessert Isle on day 83 from sprout. Mandela Effect is coming down Saturday. Dessert Isle is either this weekend or early next week.

I gave both plants one more dose of microbes, coconut water powder, and Build-a-Bloom. It’s water here on out.

Both were nice grows. No surprises. Everything by the book. They are both myrcene heavy strains (duh), so lots or tropical fruit and mango. Mandela Effect is pretty complex. Sour and sharp with a strong fruitiness. Dessert Isle is close to Daz’ strain description…..vanilla frosting and mango. It smells delicious .

I’ll be posting a smoke report in a couple weeks.
