Greenleaf Nutrients

Blue Dream autos in auto pots, fed Megacrop @ 500 ppms. Looks like the "runt", on the left, is becoming the bigger plant!

How many grams is that to reach 500 ppm? If you don't mind me asking? Im using rain water and it's 009 ppm's

How many grams per gallon to get 500 ppm?

And I think Pop22 is using soil medium so he would have lower ppm compared to others using soiless. I think that's the case but lets see what he says cause I'm often wrong.

yes how many grams per gallon. I used the chart on the mega crop site and it was 5.00 grams per gallon but that was 893 ppms and my blk cream didn't like it at all! The dark devil didn't mind as she didn't claw as much as the blk cream.

I don't weigh it i measure with measuring spoons, quick and simple! In 5 gallons I'm using 1 3/4 tablespoons. However, I now make a stock solution I believe it was 20 tablespoons to 1L of water. I use 2 table spoons o the solution and get about 530ppms with 30-40 ppms of cal/mag added to the RO water. I think this give a more consistent solution NPK wise. And it makes mixing easier.

Depends on your water's ppm also. Start with 1.5 tablespoons and check ppm. You'll find measuring that way to be fast and consistent. weighing it is a pain in the ass IMO.

I got it. It was 2.5 grams which got me to 452 ppm's and 2 ml of kool bloom which took it to 503 ppm's. Will feed them today after work. Thanks to all.

I'm about 4 weeks into my first use of MegaCrop, but am unsure about how much to use.
I have both a top feed system, and a DWC system. The top feed is using two HLG qb-65s about 30 inches above the plants, and the dwc is using a platinum p-600 led (veg switch only), about 40 inches from the plants. Closer distances can be trouble in my experience during this growth stage.
My previous experience with other nute companies is that using half their recommendations is about right.
Although there could be a variety of different causes for some problems I'm having, I'd like to eliminate over/under feeding as a potential cause.
I'm presently feeding about half of what Megacrop recommends in both tents, with air temp = 76, ppm(500) = 300, res temp = 72 F, and pH = 6.2.
Both of my systems are heavily aerated with stones, and the plants are starting their 4th week.

What strength are other highly aerated dwc growers using?

Here's a mephisto forum stomper in the dwc tent.
It was transplanted from the top feed tent to the dwc tent 4 days ago. Previously it had looked much better, similar to the second picture.

Here's a picture of a mephisto white crack from the top feed tent. I'm bothered by the faint white streaks emanating from the central vein. Although I might be reading something into nothing, it seems reasonable that those whiter places are caused by a nitrogen deficiency from under-feeding, could get burned, and produce what the bottommost leaves look like in the first picture. But those bottom leaves in the first picture could also be from over-feeding.

I had a similar problem with 1st use of MC. Thought it was calmag deficiency, then was leaning towards a potassium deficiency. But I have a RH issue, you may too. What is your rh? I had mine around 53ish and just to low. Its forcing plants to transpire to much, which is taking in more calmag. I had increased my calmag because I thought I was having a deficiency when I was actually having a toxicity. I am havi g issue raising th, so 1 way to help if rh is low is backing off feed. I lowered feed added a humidifier and I can see its slowly getting better. New leaves are not showing same signs yet. It's been hot and ac just went off few days which maybe why I cant get rh up. I know you want rh higher in bloom but I never thought 53 was so low it was hurting them to that degree. Just learned about this on here from I believe @Think. Here is the YouTube video about it.

Here is a few pic I just took.

I am not using MC this time(AN) and same issue. They started fine and just after I started to give stronger feed it started. Just keep getting worse then I lowered feed and raised rh and stopped. I also turned 1 of my autocobs off now have 2 going in my 2'x4'x5' tent.

Is that burn? Or calmag def? Or too much daily light integral? Or still a mystery for you?
