O you have it down I love DWC.. what strains are you going to run?
i was also going to use fox farms nutes and there nutes schedule
cool cool. Liking your thinking. Have you considered Induction Lights and before the price scares you... You can make 2 perfect for that size tent for around or under $100 a piece (200w) if ya got a few scraps around the house. $125 if ya need to source or buy some stuff. If your interested in induction. Like this comment and I'll get back to your thread to give ya more. A 200w is equivalent to almost a 400w hps and a bit better than a 400w MH and can do all growth stages with HUGE success. I've grown with all and hands-down induction has out-performed. BUT that really depends a lot on you and what you want to achieve.
Do you want to manage your PPMs directly and keep it super clean or would you like more of a TLAR (that looks about right) approach? Would you like to pretty much only need to monitor the ph and just measure out a few nutrients and add some as you feel is about right and still get great results? Look into Grow More products. Like SeaGrow VEG and Bloom as well as Hawaii bud etc. more organic and I can't say I have EVER burnt any plants and sometimes I just dump what I want to in the water and take out to the garden or in the DWC.... If you really want easy.... use the grow more with fish tank water that you change out about every month, and just throw in some oyster shell after you been running aquarium water through your rocks... the ph WILL read high but your plant will have no trouble. They will be able to absorb nutrients in a large ph buffer range due to having many living organisms at their root base and in the water. The Oyster shell will only disolve when the ph starts to drop. I think it will hang around 7.4... again... I've personally done this and know this to be true many times over.
This is TLO (True Living Organic...a soil technique much used with top growers on this site) in water pretty much.
thanks for all the info. idk why but i really want to to stick to just led. as far as nutes i need something that will keep me busy and try to learn the hardest stuff first for the challenge. well see how everything goes once i am able to get the money together to get my setup going. but im going to try the ph/ppm fox farm method first atleast once. if im not able to do it that way well scat happens and have to rethink my whole way of doing things
I DID the same thing. lol. but did go with soil since I knew it first... Then straight to complex hydro... lol... now I'm lazy... but grow way better with doing nearly nothing
Yup LED DOES work too though...
