my name is DutchBud and I have been cultivating cannabis since 2005. Started out with photoperiodic strains but as I learned about TJD´s Lowryder in 2006, I quickly started growing and breeding autoflowers as well. Both indoors as well as outdoors. Back then, people made fun out of us. Joking about the lack of potency and the leafyness of the Lowryders, never realising it´s true potential for further breeding.
Unfortunately, in 2008 I had to move out to another home and had to cancel the breeding program that i had just started. The initial goal was to establish a 100% AF cross between Lowryder and Herijuana. (Petrolia Headstash X Killer New Heaven by Motarebel) Managed to establish a promising F1 generation but never had the oppurtunity to work on the desirable F2 sidecross in order to display some AF. Not untill 2010, when me and my friends performed a large guerilla grow in order to establish the desired F2 seed batch. This resulted in a line of seeds that display more or less a 25% autoflower ratio. Just as expected! Great material for further breeding.
Over the recent years, we haven´t been doing a lot of breeding, just some minor evaluation of the acquired material and the results in terms of potency as well as AF ratio are promising to say the least. It wasn´t before 2017 that I backcrossed a couple of 100% AF males out of the F2 batch to 3 lovely Lowryder ladies. This yielded around 100 seeds that I am currently working with, just for some fun and quick results. But the main goal for 2018 is to further evaluate and stabilize the original F2 seed line into an extremely potent Herijuana dominant 100% AF IBL without any backcrossing to Lowryder.
Currently growing on a 3 m2 balcony and 2 window sills. Having 43 plants out of 4 seed lines at this moment. 13 plants are about to be discarded for not showing sex / displaying the AF trait. 4 AF male plants are kept in de bathroom for pollen extraction.
1) 8x Vinnie´s Haze 100% AF X (Lowryder X Herijuana F2 100% AF)
2) 27x (Lowryder X Herijuana F2 100% AF) X Lowryder
3) 7x (Lowryder X Herijuana F1) X (Lowryder X Herijuana F1)
4) 1x Super Silver Haze X Durban Poison feminized, non AF
I will start my growing journal soon. Last pic is an early AF F2 from last year.
