Hello fellow stoners! So happy to see the world are moving forward with legalization and open forums on the internet for likeminded people. Sad to say we are not there yet in my part of the world..
It’s been 25 years since I smoked weed for the first time and instantly fell in love. So much so, I’ve traveled to rural places in countries like India and Colombia, just to try that local strain I’d heard so much about (I know, you have seed banks now..). I’ve been smoking in more than 30 countries, still counting, and I’ve always taken pride in getting weed within 60 minutes from check-in at the hotel I’m staying (I know, many of you can actually buy it legally around the corner..)
However, in spite of my passion for the product, I’ve never grown my own. Until last Monday, that is.. (1st crop popped last Thursday, so cute!).
You see, for the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that my local dealers are getting younger and younger (or is it me growing older?).
So for preventing any awkward situation in the future (if you have kids and live in a society where Cannabis is not widely accepted, you’ll know what I mean), I’ve gathered a couple of friends and created a stealth production site, for growing professional, but for private use only.
Wanting a clean, fast, large and possible continuous production, we have decided on autoflower seeds and hydroponic growing. Actually, being a bit tech savvy and... well.. you know.. sky high going nuts with a credit card online.. we’ve taken it a step further, with a gravity injection wheel being able to grow shit loads of plants in one go. Combining this with a large propagation tent, separate space for curing/drying, ro/di water maker and fully controlled environments, we hope to have a production large enough to experiment with oils, drops, baking and all this cool things you read about on great forums like this.
This could have been done a lot cheaper and probably better/easier, but that was not our point.
I plan to make a journal and hope to get some advice and inputs from you experienced growers. I’ve read forums and articles online, known some growers and seen some production sites around, but never ever grown as much as fungus..
Anyway, thanks for sharing all that wisdom and passion for the hobby, sharing a big fat happy spliff of Northern Light!
