Hey guys I just signed up to the forum. I've never grown any auto's before. My choice to go auto is fueled by a huge life choice I have recently made. I was accepted into MMI in phoenix, AZ. I live in Ohio, so obviously I need to fund the move, a place to live there, and money to live on until the school helps me nail down a job there. I do not live in a rap video. I do not by any means want to "stack my chips to the ceiling," or any variation of this. I simply want to fund my future. I figure with a few auto grows done right, and the street value of kronik in my neck of the woods going up and up, it would be the fastest route. Im a General Contractor, and have been in the construction industry since I graduated. I am 28 years old, I live with my Fiance, and my Alaskan grey\timber wolf Bentley. They will both be coming with me on the move. Any and all points in the right direction would be much appreciated, as i am fairly new to auto flowering strains. I will be doing some heavy research the next couple of weeks. I need to find out about what strains yield the highest, what the grow times should be for a good strain, what hydro set up i should be using, or if the one im thinking about using is worth the money, things of this nature. i look forward to working with all of you as I start my new grow, and possibly my new future. Thanks for having me, Joe

May I be the first to welcome you to AFN, the right choice for all Auto growers from newbies to Grand Wizard Penguins. (and everything inbetween). For a second or two I thought you were saying that you may fund your lifestyle somewhat by means of bud. I am sure that is NOT what you meant as AFN does not condone such thing on this forum.
Be safe, be lucky and be careful. eP.

No no no....my main point was lost in translation i guess, THANKS FOR THE REPLY THOUGH

Welcome to AFN, JR! :tiphat:
You're on the right path for successful growing: reaserch and study!
Be sure to check out the strain reviews and smoke reports. Two great books to add to your library would be the MJ Growers Handbook by Ed Rosenthal, and MJ Horticulture by Jorge Cervantes.
Best of luck with the move and the garden!

Belated welcome to AFN, lots of great info on the various choices of what and how to grow for your personal medical needs.
