So last night we had a pretty good cold spell. I turned the heater up as normal, nothing new for me with the cold temps. However the thermostat on my heater must be a little funked up because it let the temps go lower than it ever has before. And the thing that sucks is that I have a brand new back up heater I just bought. Even thought about replacing it last night. The roots got down to 54 last night. Don't know how long but it was probably 12 or less hours. So hope the girls will be ok. I haven't seen any complaints from them so far. Fixin to go make a new res for the girls. Hope everyone has a great new year. Stay safe, watch out for all the drunks on the road. Stay high and fly by!

Hey strakey, I have to disagree with crop king man. Had a buddy order about 25 beans from them. 3 germed and didn't sprout, all the rest never germed. He contacted them wanting a refund but they just sent him some more. Did a search on Google and found out its a common thing from them, but they always send more. So the girl in the back right of my room, which is the one in front of my window unit, is having drainage problems. I gave them my usual 5 day flush and she is not draining like usual. All my other girls are draining just as normal, and a few days ago I checked and they were ALL dping just fine. So this just happened over the past couple of days.
Here's what's happening. Water is not going through the coco, well it is but VERY slowly. I check the holes on the bottom of the pot and they are not clogged any. Water will eventually come out the holes but it just drips, not like normal. When I water, the water builds up on top and slowly drains down.
The only time I've seseen this is when I used to run soil, when the soil would compact it would take forever to drain, so that's my only reference. Only prob is once the soil would get wet again it would start to drain just fine, not the case with her it just doesn't drain fast at all anymore. And when sticking my finger in the coco, it seems like the pot is just full of water.
My only thoughts are maybe the roots are so tight it may be blocking it? Still that just doesn't seem possible to me. I will say that I veg'd these girls longer than I normally do. I've ran 1 gals tons of times and never had this problem.
The plant looks perfectly fine up top, no signs of over watering or under watering. No deficiencies. So, can anyone give me a better explanation. I know there HAS to be something causing this. It just happened to fast to not be a problem. And I'm hoping it doesn't happen to all the rest.

Hello guys, its the start of week 6 flower update.
Feels like this is how I've been this past week when I look at the girls. :ama:

So far everything has been going swell (pun intended) with the girls. Looks like they may FINALLY be putting on some weight. Seems like they are starting to slowly lean towards the blue berry side I was hoping for. Smell is still kind of a dank berry, with a blueberry undertone now. The bud structure is a little different than any other mental floss I've grown. They seem to be a bunch of fox tails, very beautiful, pretty unique. I'm slowly starting to like them more and more. They sure are getting stinky and frosty
Today, I've noticed (those sneaky little bastards) are starting to lean already! Its starting in the back...of course where I can no longer reach. They are leaning towards the door it seems. So far its barely staying OK. BUT, looks like they are going to give me some more honey do's for them. Not sure how I am going to fix this problem, cant put another screen like I have been using on them. Maybe have to make some cross sections to support a few that can support a few more if that makes any sense. :slaps:
Seems to me like these girls are going to go a little longer than I suspected. This strain is usually a fast finisher but I dont think these girls think that way. Not a bad thing! If they keep this pace up they are going to be some pretty hefty ladies, theres no way these skinny branches are going to support themselves once I start hitting them with the ripener. I was hoping next week would be the time to fatten them up, but I think waiting another 2 weeks may be more beneficial?
Finally I put my order in for some new to me autos today. I finally figured out a way to get some beans from over the pond, lets just hope customs doesn't eff me over again... I mean, do they really think they are accomplishing anything?? Its legal in some states, not like there arent tons of beans in the states...sorry about the bitchin but sometimes I have to lol.
My next grow will be a Sweet Seeds grow! I ordered cream caramel, cream mandarine, and SAD. Seems like a pretty legit lineup so I am very excited. I dont think I've done a room full of autos in over 2 years it seems. Ready for the challege!
