Hello AFN friends. Tonight I did a res change and some typical scrog work. Had alot of defoliating to do, as well as some weaving of the branches. I had a little uh-oh last saturday with the girls. I went and did my daily check of the girls and thought my pump may be leaking, so I did a manual test of the pump and everything worked fine. So I dismissed my idea of the leaky pump and decided to close the room up and come back 2 days later for a res change. Well my dumb ass forgot to put my timer back in the auto setting!! So the girls went 24+ hours with no water! When I came back to check them they were hurting pretty bad. The plant that was closest to my heater got it the worst, I actually almost LOST her :no:. Its taken her about 4 days to come back but she has slowly made a return but only about 60% of her was coming back to life. I always hate when I do stupid things like that, but thats how it goes some times. And thats why we must learn to adapt and over come, only to better ourselves.
Other than my dumb moment the girls have been doing great. It took all the other girls about 2 days to bounce back to full health, and the last couple of days they've been back to normal growth. Im still convincing myself to hold off on the switch to flower. I think it may be best for me to allow them to fill the screen out more. Once the screen is to my liking I'm thinking I will let the colas grow to about 8" then flip to flower. I'm hoping to get some real nice long fat colas, need to restock on my medicine supply lol. :tiphat:
They are eating at 780 ppm, 4 times a day for 1 min. Ph is at 5.8, temps are 70-84f. Lighting is now at 20/4. In the pics you can see before I defoliated and trained, and then after I did my work. Give it about 3 days and you wont be able to see the screen anymore lol. Thats it for tonight, sorry I'm a little short on time. Everyone take care and have a great week.
