NEWS Growing Canada,4 Plant Limit

So what do you guys think, Auto's all the way now ? I not sure how a photo period grow will work now. 1 Mom, 1 clone, 1 veg and 1 flower ? Seems like a lot of work, space, and nutrient mixing. I'd like to do an outdoor grow, but living in the city on a corner lot, I just don't see my plants lasting long before someone spots them and makes off with my ladies.

I'm curious how everyone here is handling it ? Myself, I'm flowering off the last of my photo's and will be auto's from here on out. Any idea on how they are going to handle people growing more than 4 plants ? A fine possibly ?

Going to be tricky for growing outdoor photos in the city for sure if you don't have a nice chunk of property,Plants have to be hidden from sight at all times from both the public and neighbors view.

Auto's all the way for me if can finally get my ass up and running again lol Hoping to do a seed run first then after that i'll be running quick strains with 2 in flower 2 in veg so should be harvesting 2 every 45 days give or take.

Just remember though,Law says we can grow 4 plants per residence but its still illegal to grow at the same time right now,For your grow to be legal by federal law all seeds and clones must be bought from a legal government source and go figure they don't have any seeds or clones for sale anywhere in canada right now

Proof, indeed, of how a knee-jerk populist piece of legislation was not thought through properly. Some common sense would have made the transition to legality go much more smoothly, but instead you have a situation which can only be described politely as "farcical" and you can bet that the local LEO's, etc, are going to be as confused as everyone else, leading to either unnecessary prosecutions or a free-for-all as others fill in the gaps left by such stupidity from Ottawa.

I guess that leads to another question, what about enforcement of the 4 plant limit ? I cant see how they could ever possibly get a warrant to search your property. Unless they have someone that has psychically been in your grow operation testifying against you or you have a very large grow op with an outrageous power bill.

Have you seen on line the prices of a clone from the l.p. they wanted 75. Each or more I think whistler was charging 125. Each then if you order more the price goes down. I get my seed from the same place our government got theirs from Europe, Spain ect. The only problem is I don't import thousands nor do I have import permit. I grow autos so now I bread my own lines.

I didn't even know getting clones was an option. I cant find anywhere in Sask.

I was just looking at the whistler wwmc site. $750 for their starter kit (5 clones). You need a med license I think to buy from them. I would imagine in B.C it would just be easier to ask you neighbor nicely for one

Yes isn't that nuts. Most people with medical issues that there trying to remedy conditions with weed are more desperate for relief and don't necessarily have the money to afford that kind of a cost. I'm pro active if it's leagel and the Government is the cartels we have to go through for our supplies to get relief but they refuse to supply our need for starting material, I say f- - k them I'll buy my seed for 10 bucks each from over seas suppliers. I know I can't afford 750. If I could my inarears property tax would be paid. My inarears income tax would be paid. My ACMPR would not be expired.

I know this thread is a little old but I agree, the government gives out a licence to grow your own medicine legally but do not provide any means to obtain seeds legally. Then what WAS available for clones was stupid expensive to purchase and then there’s no guarantee your average Canadian will keep them alive never mind a decent, quality med harvest. It’s impractical and out of reach for many people that need these meds to live. Poor execution of a great idea.
