ok.so,my friend just finished a grow with some photo plants grown in coco.They were amazing,really tight and packed buds.He went on 12-12 from start to finish with coco,only with water.....water with 7.5 ph.How is that possible ? coco has no nutrients and still the plants finished with great results.He said that the harvest was the same as last time,only the last time he used nutrients.wth?how?

Was it a pre-charged coco like Coco Loco from Fox Farms?
Serious reservations regarding the voracity of that story.
Seems like the only way that's possible is to amend the coco with powder nutrients
like supersoil, prior to starting. Might want to ask him to expand on what was done
during preparation of the medium.
The other item that doesn't seem to dovetail with reality is that as a soilless medium,
Coco's wheelhouse pH range is like 5.4 to 6.0. So 7.5 water would almost certainly
cause lockout.
Feels like there maybe some key points missing.

) i think the key point missing here is that i ahven't actually seen the plant,only after harvest when the buds were dry....this is a must try!!!

Go ahead and try it and let us no how its working.
Sorry, its not you I don't believe but.......unless that coco was old and decomposing, I don't see this as possible

Even Coco Loco is amended coco coir with forest humus, worm casings and other stuff. Used it for my last grows and still need to cal-mag the grows. Coco is dry hydroponics. Needs it all or NOTHING will grow>

I like to hear people talk about the "Marijuana Grow" that his brother's cousin's mother-in-law's sister's divorced husband grew. I never tell anyone that I grow:no: and I'm pretty good at it.

Not keep adding more to this, but I need to know. Did you see the actual grow set up?

Not documented, didn't happen.
I also never have anyone near my grow room. It's my den and nobody goes in there. Even my wife asks permission and if you've been married as long as I have..that's some kind of miracle.
Note:
Just rambling on needlessly...vaping some 2 month cured Swiss Cheese....grown in coco loco with NUTRIENTS.
