Indoor Growing Scrog

Love this thread, it's great information on here. 420autoflower scrog method rocks. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and the beautiful pictures. This needs more attention in the entire community.

I'm trying your scrogging in the next run in a slightly different yet the somehow same way , with some DP photos instead of autos, just not chosen which exactly. Probably it will become another zushi since I have few ready to scrog within next 2 weeks. Yet I'm open for alternative ideas, recommendations etc...
Could be fun to document , photograph and share the progress.

I love purples!!! Greens, blacks and pinks and blues are good too! Maybe we ven a white lol. I love all weed, and I think it's cool how the same strain can be so different when it turns out either green or purple or whatever. I love all colors of weed and I honestly get exited whenever the colors start popping. I know it has nothing to do with potency but I always loved that crazy bag appeal!

Day 67/8

Well friends, unless I'm mistaken we've officially hit the home stretch. While she's not nearly as impressive as some of the beautiful plants here, she's as lovely as can be to my eyes.

Going to be switching to flushing in the coming days while she finishes developing. Her buds have stayed pretty airy, and didn't bulk up quite as much as I'd like for the real slackjaw reactions but who knows what time will bring.

It's bittersweet, because I know there's so much more I could have done. But, she was just round one, and as soon as she's chopped we're popping some more seeds. She took up most of a 3x3 on her own, but I think I could manage to squeeze 2 plants in here with some adjustments. With the experience she's given me for this style of growing everything from here will only get better.

If you’re considering growing another 420 SCROG I would suggest to flatten your plant out earlier so you have more preflower stretch under the net to help you fill in your canopy better. I looked back in the thread and noticed you flattened your plant out when you already had buds forming which is a little late.

Fabric pot or grow bag 3 gallon? I see you grow only in grow bag. Is this a reason you do that? Thanks

I use .38 cent 2 gallon plastic grow bags because they’re cheap and I don’t fell bad tossing them into the basura

I wanted to try this one. Had bad seeds so may give it another shot. Can you describe the effects in more detail? Thanks.

By bending the main top over with the 420autoflower bent coat hanger method and scrogging with the 420autoflower scrog method I’m able to create a full canopy with over 100 different main top nodes that eventually turn into colas. Even the smallest nodes on the bottom of the plant that are usually plucked off turn into large colas which adds to the yield. I’m also able to produce more higher quality product with colas/buds that share the same density and frost production from everything growing on top of the canopy.

Thank you brother, yeah I definetely bent her way too late, by about 7-10 days. That lead to a lot of loss in potential growth, but Ive made it to the near end and have hands-on experience going forward.
I can't think of any other way I'd rather grow than the 420 Scrog method!

Notes for next run:

Bend at the correct time, get prepared sooner (I have most things I'd need now, so going forward should be much easier)

Possibly invest in a stronger, more durable light. I've been looking at some of the Farmlites to fit into my 3x3 and would use my TS1000 for under lighting.

Hoping this next run I'll have some of those collosal colas that make me salivate

LSD-25/Fast Buds can be rather potent and overall more mildly psychedelic and sensory-oriented high than most any other cannabis I've grown/tried in many years. But it's just cannabis and not potent enough to compare to real psychedelics and tripping. For ex., looking around things or something can look or seem subtly different, you may notice what may be slightly off colors (gone when you look closer), music and audio systems sound more detailed, etc. It's definitely more psychotomimetic, induces mild psychosis (gets you very high), changes your state of consciousness, splits you into different personas (such as super high vs. grounded). And it's flat-out great for sex!

Probably much the same could be said for other mild types or doses of psychedelic drugs.

Yes. Someone should figure out what is (or isn't) in LSD-25 buds that makes the strain rather unique, and more breeders should target this.

The strain has some of the effects largely lost in recent decades of inter-breeding, including outdoors cross-contamination, and related loss of original landraces. Those of us old enough may remember higher quality (vs. bulk commercial) Aculpulco Gold, Thai sticks/weed, Hawaiian, Jamaican, etc. with similar 'psychedelic' effects.

Thx for the warm welcome. Was a bit busy, to instantly reply. But here's

I still use lot of my stuff from 20 years ago as well as what is available to me and does the job without breaking the bank.
Have to order some tubing , connector pieces and some fresh drippers , as my old ones were a bit too done for my taste. But other than that, I guess I've more than enough stuff to use.

For the scrog project I stay indoors with a 140x70x200 tent this time. Never used it , but a scrogged plant is shitty to move and when a maintanence guy has to come for whatever repair reason it's less stressful to just close a tent.
2 150watt led should work in that tent. i've also some left over filmmaking light led panels, which worked surprisingly well for under canopy in the past.

While not needed now, I still found 5 of the metal frame shown below, which looked pretty useful (it's 100x90cm). The metal on top are two fence elements.All could need a cleanup and bit of fresh paint. These fences are heavy and hold everything down but literally any net would work.
I don't think about using this indoors ever, but outdoors one day in the future this isn't that bad to have, especially if the roof elements are added and all 5 frames are connected. But puzzling the roof parts together is pain in the ass with no helping hand , just imagine it for now.
The still tiny outdoor grown zushi below is just to illustrate the idea of the frame better.

Our local "we sell only random crap nobody ever needs but it's so cheap, you buy it anyway"- store had - surprisingly- a small batch of these wham boxes in 36l and 62l for a undenyable price. On top another old pump and some timers.
