Indoor Growing Scrog

Thats as far in as it goes! Am I supposed to pull out the bread like I'm making room for the meatballs?
The 4" blocks and Hugos' normally come with a hole in the middle, ready to slot your starter cube into. This just helps out with watering a younger seedling when the roots are below the fertigation line.

If you can, maybe remove the plug and trim the Grodan cube to make the plug fit. Loose is better than tight, rockwool does not benefit from being compressed. ... If you happen to get a 1-2" main stem, it might be difficult to support.

I like to start out at close to 0PPM and bring it back up with nutrients I know the plant will actually use but you should be able to get away with starting at 203PPM.
@Drownomatic!
How come you didn't bury your pea pod into the 4x4”?
It's best to use RO water and rely on your base nutes (or supplementation regimens commonly used with your nutes) for Ca/Mg. Nearly all base nutrient products presume low salts/ppm water will be used. That's why those who supplement for prevention vs. when needed to address a deficiency often see excesses. Also, various bloom stage supplements often include Mg.

Yes… base nutes first if you’re starting with a high EC.

Yes… remove some of the rockwool so you have enough space to bury your pod.

Exactly this! F.ex. tripart flora has mg in bloom. T.a. actually recommends using a little more over epson salt , which just would further imbalance the solution.

This is what support of t.a. wrote me regarding mg/cal imbalance and mg lack only:
The way that you are doing, you might end up wit an excess of calcium. In the future, rather use our coco formula without any additive, Do not put Epsom, this will further imbalance the solution, rather add a bit more bloom, it is loaded with Mg.

that's for the tripart but it's always worth checking the bottles of your used line of nuts, and I strongly recommend always ask the brand's support regarding issues like this and other questions about the individual product. They probably know their products better than most (most, not all) random dudes on the internet, who just repeating often false or missleading information.

Update time.

Alien versus triangle day, 44.
The amount of defoliation this plant has taken is no joke. This photo is actually from like day 41 and it’s about ready for another trim. Coming in STRONG though. Really hoping I can pull over a pound off of this one.

StrawNana-
Day 50-55 not 100% sure. I lost the popsicle stick. 😅

This one has a larger footprint, but significantly less bud sides than the alien versus triangle (also this one is being grown in an organic soil mixture as opposed to the self-contained hydroponic drip system that the others are on.)

And finally, we have the two Funky Mangifera.
Day 29. These two showed pre-flower much sooner than the other ones, which resulted in smaller footprints, however, luckily there were two of them in the 2 x 4!

Still looking like it’s gonna be some quality!

HUGE shoutout to @420autoflower for the blueprint to this, as well as always communicating and helping out along the way!

Hopefully in the next 30 to 45 days, I’ll have some great harvest photos for everyone!
