Took some of the crusty crunchy leaves from the others that where dying off and crushed them all and gave the pink salad a dry compost over top of soil. Heard there are some good things about that. Any thoughts? Ever heard of that.
A friend of mine is a agriculture specialist and he said that when the leaves begging to fall off trees in winter that it puts healthy things into the soil for the plant to use when it begins to veg again and I said hell with it, can't hurt right? Lol
Amazing room man. I think in a natural out door farming situation leaf litter makes a great ground compost. In an indoor situation where you are watering on top I would worry about mold. I worry alot though...
Wow guys thanks for all the rep! Got more rep from the bookcase then my actually growing in my candy kush thread!
But I'm not to worried about the shit on top cause it's extremely dry crumble to a hundreds of tiny pieces. Nothing in my room is gonna mold cause it's all I can do to keep my plants watered. The humidity here is less than 35% and it's rare that we get any kind of mold. Thankful for that but hell keeping plants wet! I appreciate the thought. I always love constructive criticism because that's how you rule out fatal problems for your plants! Thanks again torched.
