New Grower Guidance needed for a first time grower

I'm getting ready to start my first grow in a couple of weeks, as soon as my seeds arrive. I ordered 3 Northern Lights auto (feminized) from vision seeds, and 3 auto Sour diesel haze (regular) from Flash seeds. I have purchased almost everything I need for my grow except a PH tester, soil, and nutrients. And I wanted to know if the Foxfarm planting mix (red bag) would be good to use for the whole grow along with what my local hydro store calls a "smart tea" supplement, which is their own store branded organic nutrient. BTW I'm not completely new to the forum as I had one of the accounts that got deleted back in November.

I think that smart tea is a root stimulant like mychorrizae whitch is good but you will still have to give it reg nutes.OF is good but you might want to scoop a few cups out of the center a use some reg seed mix or plain peat just in case the fox is a little strong.

Thanks for the good info. I went and bought some OF and Happy Frog and some grow and bloom nutes from my local hydro store. Now I just have to wait for my seeds to arrive. I ordered them from the Single seed centre.

Start your seeds in at least 32 oz cups fille with the HF mix and them tier into your OF a couple weeks later. Or you can fill your final pot with OF and scoop out a cup sized area and fill it with HF to start in.

That's why I decided to get both, because the party cups are what I wanted to start my seeds in. I also picked up some 3 gallon smart pots.

Would it also be wise to use some perlite with the 50/50 mix of the Happy frog and Ocean forest using the smart pots (the ones with the fabric)?
