First grow I planted the following four auto strains

-Northern Lights x Big Bud Ryder from World of Seeds
-Blue Mystic from Nirvana
-Blue Amnesia XXL from Dina-fem
-Green Crack from Fast Buds

When I harvested I had one that smelled of diesel fuel and spicy herbs, I hung them to dry for 7 days in 65f with RH of 45 to 50. Went to jar last night and buds look great but they all smell like fuel now, no skunk smell. It's a extremely strong chemical fuel smell, should I be worried? I did order a diesel strain, it is possible the breeder mislabeled the seed vials

First off least u got some good smoke[emoji3] and the drying temp was a lil low. 70 is supposed to be bout the best. With good air flow to boot. Not enough to dry them by the air blowing on em but not the same stale air basically. And the hunidity needs to be higher also. 45 would dry a lil to fast. But with the 65 degree air temp I dunno. When u took them down could u snap the buds in half no bending on the pieces before hand?

The smaller buds and branches would snap larger ones still had some flex. Outside of buds was dry and crispy almost. But the inside were still soft. I could squeeze them and they would slowly expand back out. Let the jars sit for about 8 hrs opened them up for about 45 mins. No hay smell, resealed jars gonna open again right before I head to work for a few mins.

I dried them in my grow tent with exhaust fan running. The exhaust fan was on low, still enough to cause a good air flow. I left the bottom vent and door both open some to allow for good ventilation

Yea they not dry yet brother. U need to keep drying them. Sometimes takes two weeks to actually dry.

If they smell ammonia, there probably too wet. Touch them you should be able to tell if there damp take them out and let them dry more before going back in the jar.
