Laughing Hyena Seeds HashbrownClown grows Gastro Jr with Strawbanana Daddy

They are up and going about to 2 weeks and going strong. So far I like what I'm seeing from the two gastro Jr. And one Strawbanana Daddy. The gastro Jr. Seems to be out doing the Strawbanana Daddy but it's early on still but I see these things getting big. I've only fed once and they seemed to like it and I will step it up a lil each time until I hit the sweet spot. So far so good.

They had a very nice week and have had a growth spurt. I'm just now maybe seeing a few preflowers. I have to say these plants have probably some of the biggest fan leaves I've ever seen on an auto. They are quickly putting on mass and bulking up stalk. The genetics look great so far and I feel they will produce some stellar flowers. The two gastro Jr plants seem to be growing taller then the Strawbanana Daddy which is more squat but wide. I can't wait to see these things in another week or two they have some potential to get large as well. ive only fed them nutrients twice and planning a third feed this evening. They also seem to be able to handle a decent feeding so far. I wouldn't sleep on these genetics.

Update week 5 the stretch was huge on the two gastro Jr. The Strawbanana Daddy is a lil more squat compared to GJ. The fan leaves are massive way bigger then my hand. I'm just now seeing buds from and doing some rearranging to give them some extra room to grow. I've stepped up on the mega crop 1 part going to start sone booster in upcoming week. Also giving it kelp with every feeding. The last pic is Strawbanana Daddy in front of big Gastro Jr. After I get them a lil more space I plan to open them up with some tie wire and spread them apart a bit. So far not a difficult strain to grow but very fast growth I really like this one.

Update week 5 the stretch was huge on the two gastro Jr. The Strawbanana Daddy is a lil more squat compared to GJ. The fan leaves are massive way bigger then my hand. I'm just now seeing buds from and doing some rearranging to give them some extra room to grow. I've stepped up on the mega crop 1 part going to start sone booster in upcoming week. Also giving it kelp with every feeding. Huge for sure. I think I might start a third Gastro Jr. To try some lst and try tame the height a bit. It wasn't right away but just before flower mine stretched a mile almost creating an even canopy on its own. The branches get long and I've started to semi lollipop the branches to get more to tops. It started out at a good growth rate then supercharged through preflower to now the tallest plants I have going right now. Definitely wished I would've either used a net or tried some lst on one. I wasn't sure how uniform the growth was. The two I got look close to identical one maybe a bit more lush. But the smell I am getting is the same and it's very nice. I can't wait to get them later in bud to see how the bud structure is on it. All in all I really enjoy this strain so far to grow and can't wait to smoke some of the finished product. Also the Strawbanana Daddy is loading up with some nice sized golf balls early on and looking like they will be pretty nice. The size of the plant is considerably smaller then GJ but loaded with buds.

Coming up close to the end now and so far no real issues from the genetics I may have pushed too hard and one of two didn't take it well and I may havest it sooner. I've lost most leaves in last week but buds are still filling out ok. The other plant is doing much better and better color. Both have similar smells one maybe a bit stronger in skunky gas With a lil something sweet on backend. Similar yields to both plants so far the greener one might have slight advantage. Both were grown side by side with all same feedings, water, and lighting with different results. Very long branches almost as tall as the main close to even. LST would be a good idea I believe and tie wire to open it up for air and light. Very frosty and visually awesome. I look forward in upcoming days maybe week or so to give a smoke report and final thoughts. So far I don't think you went wrong with this decision and hopefully it smokes as good as it looks.
