Heading to the Beach

Next week I'm going to the coast to collect seaweed. Never done this before, anyone tried it? Just looking for some pointers if possible. Is there anything I should be avoiding or looking for-I've never paid any attention to seaweed before haha.

Go to the beach and smoke a joint. Then go to your grow shop and buy their liquid Seaweed. Wild collected is going to full of extra salts and who knows what else.

I would think, and I'm no expert lol so don't take my word for it, that if you're going to be composting it in your compost pile, that just about any seaweed would do. I would probably just stuff some in a trash bag and take it lol. It would make sense to lay it out and hose it off pretty well when ya get it home I miss California, swimming among those huge underwater green kelp forests. The east coast has this junky looking brown seaweed.

Thanks guys. I'm obviously not going to go throwing seaweed all over my canna plants without some forethought. I can test it on plants in my garden first. I was thinking about rinsing it down to get rid of all the sand and salt then dry some of it out to make a mulch or even try to break it down somehow to add to the tea's I want to make.

Screw hydro stores, there I said it!
