New Grower Healthy environment to safekeep seeds

So I was wondering if I could leave my seeds (not to be grown for at least a half year, ugh) in the bags and little containers that they came in, or if in the interest of the seed, I should put them in a jar or something

Hay man I keep mine in an airtight tin with some dry rice in my fridge some people put them in the freeze. You wanna keep them away from moisture and light in a nice cool place ie fridge or freeze.
