PLEASE HELP AFN
My girls are @ week 4 today,
4 auto NL & 4 auto Critical by Female seeds.
My problem is that 2 of my girls are now at 5 foot tall and my grow space is only 8 feet high, and with my light {a 600w hps} touching the roof im scared i will burn my girls if they get any taller.
They are on sensi grow, im waiting for the sensi bloom to be deliverd, would giving them bud blood stop the height growth and maybe concentrate the growth to the flowers ??????????????????
Can someone please help
ps. ! 1st grow !!:help:

you could maybe try tying the tops down to give you more space, you will still have some more growth height wise when they are in flower, do you have any pics you could post?

welcome to the site. if i were you, i would tie down the tops as gently as possible, as Larky.Derry said. i would also flush them with plain ph'd water to rinse some of the grow nutes and hit them with bloom nutes as soon as you can. be vary careful with your light touching your roof as well...an hps that close can easily burn most materials and potentially start a fire. providing a bit of space between your light and the roof, along with a fan blowing around the light can alleviate some of the heat, but still allow you to keep your light fairly close to the ceiling.

good luck and happy growing. stay safe! :peace:

Thanks bro for the kind words:hug:
The light still has around 10 inches between the reflector & ceiling, thanks for the concern though
Yesterday was the first day i gave the 2 big ones as you said just ph'd water, cheers for that 1 AFN
Ive also got a large fan blowing upwards toward the light my temps are around 27 but obviously the higher they get the hotter they will also get :hot:
Cheers

I had planned my grow to be in a out building, but because of the poor weather & cold temp I started indoors but to be truthful i never expected to be so successful by getting all females, only lost 3 because they never popped with the rest, but in all honesty im over the moon with my luck 9 0ut of 11 !!:thedogsbollocks:
But to get real, im gonna move my girls into there new home tomorrow. That way there will be no issues with any one getting burned from the light,
What about the bud blood ?? should I have used this before now or have i done the right thing and waited a week or 2 after the first flowers show ??:howdy:
