Mephisto Genetics Heisenberg x 3bog and Three Cosmic Queen

Got five beans on the heating mat. Three Cosmic Queen in honor of Subcool. Never got to meet the man, but he showed this plant great love and thats to be respected and revered. I also put my feelers out in OR with a good friend and he sent me some photo gear of Subcools, that will be used in some breeding Two Heisenberg x 3bog as well. Ran the Cosmic queen a few years back. Its such a lovely plant in so many ways. Stoked to have gotten my hands on some. Supplied myself well. The guys were more than accommodating with this order. I screwed up my order due to not paying attention, and it was quickly remedied. Heres to Subcool and you fellow growers. Couldn't do it without you.
Be Well AFN
Back in the day Subcool was dubbed a Pollen Chucker, but I have had some nice strains from him. Actually about 15 years ago he personally sent me some Space Dawg seeds for my brother in laws Crohns for free. I had that Space Dawg photo plant for many years, it was great. I Also had a Purple CheeseQuake that people loved for well over a decade. He focuses on Terpene profiles when breeding, and I have had some very stinky strains of his. I had an Agent Orange pheno that smelled like Tangerines, almost too much at times to be honest. Good luck with the Cosmic Queen. Peace, slow

Thanks Slow, I use the word breeding very lightly in my case. Anything I've smoked of his has been real nice. I've only experienced cherry pie and Chernobyl, I received some Slymer in the mail so were gonna try and work that outdoors at my brothers house, and chuck some pollen at it. I'm confused about what exactly is a pollen chucker is, someone just working anothers gear, essentially isn't that what were all doing. I do understand the time it takes to hunt down prized phenos and run them to fruition. it does seem lame to take someones long hard work and then cross it quickly for a new cultivar with a new name for profit, but I think with all the competing in the market these days its easy to point the finger and get worked up over money. The corporations are just gonna fuck us anyhow. I think we have forgotten what its all about to a degree. Ive never grown for profit so I I guess Im mentally removed from the competitive side of things. I just really love getting stoned and anyone I can share that with, thats my mission. Be Well Slow

Pollen chucker is someone who just dusts tons of strains with pollen to make seeds without selecting the best of the best. Basically someone who makes tons of seeds for selling by dusting lots of females with the same male pollen. Like I said that was 15+ years ago and I too have had som really good strains from him. I am actually going to start to make some of my own seeds this year, that is my goal atleast. Take care, slow

Best of luck with your project Slow

So it looks like its gonna be One Hesisenberg and three CQ. Two of the CQ's didn't sprout, so I started another two. One of the Heisenberg as well did not make it. Must have been operator error. A week between front and back. Temps stable around 80, high sixty at night or lights off. Been tough to keep humidity up due to winter, but thats running 40 to 45 with the humidifier running 24/7 outside of the tent. Be Well AFN

19 or 20 days for the larger ladies, about two weeks on the other, with the little one at nine. The little one had to be coaxed out of its shell, little weak to begin but it seems to be improving. Things seem to be moving right along, preflowers a few days ago. Curious if anyone out there does any seed prep, I.e sandpaper or peroxide solution? Generally, I've no trouble with germination but these CQ seeds gave me some trouble. They will be cherished that much more. Topdress with castings and water tmrw, and we have got some cat grass coming up for Mr Oldboys buddy the cat. Be well out there AFN

This is also the second run in this soil, kept the pots moist through dormancy the past two months. Gave the old mains a twist and they came right out, Planted right in their place. I also discovered what I believe are springtails, Which I suppose tells me theres some good activity going on in there.

Sweet Fish - glad to hear all is well and cat grass coming, yea ..... We love our pets so much (at least I do - they are my kids).

Peace always,
MOB

We do love him, he's got spring fever.

Anxious to see a pic of him and his “grass”!
