Supplement Income that’s what I did when I had my belt - Small income but it helps - go for it ..... Love the idea of various types of castings!

Hey, how did your grow turn out? How did you like the M3? Any Nitrogen toxicity issues? I had some but also did a tea that may have made it happen or worsen it. Thanks for any info you can share about your experience.

I must admit OB I am using store bought Omri listed castings. I am going to save the homemade castings for vegetables and trades for now. I am harvesting the castings every few weeks and I've found my casting collection tub is acting as a nursery right now. So many worm eggs, I'm gonna put a apple in the corner of that tub, get them to cluster and start another farm. Thinking about putting down the tool belt and worming full time at some point, or at least supplemental. Found myself throwing worms out of a puddle into grass the other day on the job site. Love the little buggers. It would be fun to do a project with two tubs, one leafy greens, dead leaves ect. And the other with more fruiting bodies, banana, apple etc. My thought is, Leafy tub for veg, Fruiting tub for flower. What are your thoughts. Going to start adding some nice aged horse compost as well, topdressed our raised bed with that this year as it was free. Be Well my friend.

I too am growing in M3 AND have multiple worm bins around my house and property. Awesome stuff!

no N tox issue, this was an experimental round. This was the second run in the same pots with only about a week between, harvest and planting. Removed the main and planted in its place. Ive run m3 with all my autos, I do add quite a few cups of castings, some green sand and papas perfect poo at the bottom of the pot during the initial soil making/ blending. Im amazed how well they turned out with depleted soil. I was impressed enough to run one more round in the same pots, they just received a couple cups of WC as top dress. M3 is some good stuff.
Be well LZR

Sorry I did not see the tea comment, it could have been the tea. Like I said I've run pretty much only m3 and haven't had any tox issues, so my guess is it could have been the tea, maybe a more diluted solution next time. I don't use to many teas. sometimes some aloe FPJ. Best of luck

Thank you! I appreciate the info. That tea was the culprit, interestingly 2 of 6 plants (CDLC's) were not very impacted. They must have a wider PH range and Nitrogen tollerance. Super heady too, cutting them down this week!
