Hi everybody. USA here. So due to this quarinteen I have went though too many jars!! Way too fast!! :smokingown to one jar and no money. What is a girl to do? My X grew all our weed until he decided to be a @^$%*&$ idiot and take a 14 month vacation
Lucky for me when his cousin came to get everything he only took what was in the basement which left me with the basic necessities in my bedroom closet and a box full of seeds in the fridge If he didn't owe me so much money and hadn't wreck my car I would almost feel bad about it.
Other than an aloe plant I've had for a few years, and helping in the garden as a kid I have never grew a plant. I have been reading for 4 days straight and think I am ready to give it a go. I am here because I've read it's best to start with autos and I'm sure I will need help along the way.

That happens, my brothers and I are always running low. Just grow more than needed is the new motto. The covid18 virus has caused so many problems. Street weed here is around 300 an ounce. Shame about the X deciding to take time off growing. Sounds great the most important items he didnt take like the weed and seeds. Oh gosh he wrekced your car as well, sounds like the X from hell lol.

Autos are great in that you dont have to worry about the light reqiirements for photos. Just use the @ at my name if you need any help. GrowWeedEasy website has some helpful threads as does Royal Queen Seeds.

Hey @Jan:)! Welcome! I'm a new member here as well but it's a great place to be! I've been lurking for a few years so I should know! As someone who has spent years growing for personal use; the best advice I can give to you is to just let it grow! It's a plant, it's called weed for a reason, it's going to grow regardless. As long as you don't kill it and it's reasonably healthy, it'll grow, so don't over think it! It is honestly easier than you think! But I'm a stupidly lazy grower! As much as I love to look at my girls everyday, I hate being forced to look at my girls everyday, know what I mean?!

In regards to photos vs autos imo, there is no difference except the timer settings. I was gifted a photo clone and grew it for years and as a beginner it was a God send to me. I didn't have to worry about germination issues, differing genetics, feed needs etc. Every time I grew the plant I got the exact same thing. When you clone a plant you get the same result every time in comparison to seeds which will be genetically different every time. But that's more in regards to the difference in clones than the seeds. Having a good mother plant is like having a unicorn! But variety is nice too! I'm getting a bit side tracked any way.... Back to the original point! With autos the light timers will stay the same throughout the life of the plant. With photos you will flip to 12/12. I have flipped autos to 12/12 in the past when I got impatient and felt they were vegging too long! I usually end up on my second to last jar so desperate to get through another grow so I know what it's like to be in your position!

My best advice to you is to just grow what you have. Right there. Right now! Thank you next, to the ex and grow tf outta those lil beans!!!!

Btw @Jan:) (all new growers!) The single crucial lesson you can learn in your efforts to grow some decent smoke is 'patience'.
Without a doubt learning that is 100% the single most important aspect of your end result.
