Hey everyone 1st time grower here . Im 63 days into my grow. I got 6 autos going . 4 of them are 2 fast 2 vast the other 2 are amnesia haze. Im using an ipower 600w hps light in an open closet . I lined the whole closet with mylar. The plants are in 5 gallon buckets with foxfarm ocean soil. I havent used any nutrients and all the plants are doing really well except one that got damaged after germinating it broke when i went to take it out of the paper towel. It still grew but its a runt.So 3 plants are 62 days old and 3 are 53.

First timer myself .....they are inspirational mate.....mine seem real happy but only 22 days old

You are doing great man! For not having measured your pH apparently for all your water feeds they are fantastic. But yeah once you start mixing in your Fox Farm trio for feeds definitely pH the water after you mix in the nutes with the water. Most shoot for 6-6.5 and many use pH up or down solution with a dropper (only take a drop or two typically) to adjust the pH. Let it sit for a while and go get them man!

How much solution you need to add will vary depending on a couple of things. The water you use and concentration of fertilizer in the mix are two of the most pressing concerns. Its best to start with a metered amount and write down both the ph before and after as well as the dose. Do tht for a while and you will get a very good eye for getting in the ballpark. Just observe and record.

Oh, and while I am thinking of it. If you have a pH meter and have just calibrated it a down and dirty trick you can use to check the meter between cals is to measure the pH of several common house hold items. If the pen has been calibrated the ph of the can of coke in the fridge, the brand of milk you drink, the tap water you get from the faucet. All will be very close and consistent. Particularly soft drinks and tap water. So you can pop the top on a can of coke and know that your pen in close to cal.

I am a cheap bastard and care not for paying the lab fees again. Chemistry is best when it is free.

What temp do you guys think is ideal for the top of the plant. Right now its 82 F. Soon i will purchase an exhaust fan for my hood so i can move the light closer.

Hi guerillagrower65 welcome I'm Hongkongfuey &joined around a month ago IV done plenty grows but1st time with autos&dunno if its going well or not so didn't do a weekly journal incase it went tits up but realised probably better to put as much info out there as poss then if I do get problems people can help easier,, they seem healthy,I'm in12litre pots with holes drilled all over them&in UK so different soils but it's in a decent mix with perlite my 2fast2vast (4)3are at day28&1at21.im under a600wsodium(but had em under250w halide for2weeks then upped it to400wfor week3 so all under sodium now[emoji6]I'm just concerned about the size?I dunno it could be totally normal so I'm posting few pics1of my2f2v lstd&2left to their own devices oh&the last pic is a la diva auto at21days only 3sets if branches 3inches high&pistols all over it?&that put preflowers out at 2weeks but my2f2v only showed 1st pre flower's today28(all 3on same day)any help appreciated&it would be interesting to see how long each others grows take as we are on similar schedule (I just hope they stretch a bit 2b honest)I dunno maybe IL get some answers on here they are a very helpful&friendly bunch..

That's sounds good ....happy to compare I'm first time so don't have high expectations.... but god loves a fryer and that I am haha...I will post and tag u pics if u want
