Hello all. My name is Bo and I'm from the California Gold Country. After a twenty year tolerance break to focus on my responsibilities, the state of Cal. has became a legal state. I was a wake and bake stoner when i was a teen and early adult and I gave it up to pursue family and career goals. Back then in the eighties we would fantasize about total legalization and now we have it. Lately I've begun to partake a little bit and I find I can only handle one hit of the local dank to put me in a nice relaxed state. I tried some high cbd bud (ac/dc) from a local dispensary and fell in love with herb again. I found this website from Youtube and you guys really have it together. I am now going to turn my bathroom closet (2x3 ft.) into a little auto flower grow and I have many questions. Thank you guys for a great forum!

For the space I would recommend 1 plant. Dinafem who is a vendor here is a great company and they offer high cbd strains. Buying a dozen of those should hold you for awhile. Next is the pot, for less maintenance a 5 gallon air pot with a saucer below to catch any runoff. I like to plant direct into soil and to do this the easiest way I found is to use rapid root plugs which do a great job of holding the seeds from getting lost. For soil any low nutrient mix or peat based mix seems to work well, also want to add in a Little extra perlite to help prevent common over watering. As for lighting I would honestly stay away from any single diode panels unless they offer Cree or osram leds. Either that or head over to the DIY section and learn how to build a 1-2 cob light which I would be more than happy to help with. You won't notice much heat with these at all and will also have very little impact on your electric bill.
Drop the seed, do some light feeding until you see preflowers appear and then add in flower nutrients. Slowest increasing nutrient strength until you hit 30-40% the recommended or until you see a slight tip burn. If the plant starts growing uneven or with tall branches doing some low stress training such as pulling taller branches over with some sort of tie. This will allow you to keep the light lower which will help you get a good solid bud throughout the whole plant. Hope this helps and if you need any more help or info feel free.
