I am new to growing. I don’t use, but I grow for my daughter who suffers from depression and anxiety. I just harvested my first autos (Northern Lights from Vision seeds). They listed them as an 8 week grow, but took 11 weeks and could have gone longer. I also noticed that the two that I had were markedly different. One was more indica and the other more Sativa like. Some breeders seed is not very stabilized and very different plants emerge. Sometimes one plant will grow far better than another and the resulting bud will be very different. Plants from some of the bigger companies (generally) are more stabilized and perform in a more uniform way, though not always!! The effects in different plants can also vary a fair bit. Continue to try different varieties until you find ideal strains for anxiety and depression. A 1:1 or 1:2 ratio cbd strain would also be worth experimenting with.

What other strains do you have? I deal with both anxiety and depression at times from 24/7 chronic pain feedback. A couple of my best(some folks dont do well with sativas when they deal with anxiety though) so far

What other strains do you have? I deal with both anxiety and depression at times from 24/7 chronic pain feedback. A couple of my best(some folks dont do well with sativas when they deal with anxiety though) so far

Over the past 4 years I have grown from seed from many breeders including some I bred. Like Forrest Gump would say "Seeds are like a box of chocolates you just never now what you will get". One constant for me has been they have all taken longer than the breeders estimate. I grew some Wild Thailand that went 5 weeks over but oh she is worth it.

For me that is part of the fun but it can be very troublesome in a small space. Plants grow different heights and width making lights hard to place. I grow hydro with one reservoir for 6 plants and sometimes you get the odd duck that needs more or less of some nutrient. Anyhow you get the idea.

I medicate for pain and do not smoke. Most of my consumption is homemade chocolates or vape oil. So I do not have a lot of recommendations for anxiety. @Root has a lot of experience in the medical section and may have some good strains for you to try
