Live Stoner Chat Hello to AFN community auto whit widow from pyramid

Good morning AFN
guys your words on foliage feed as she is flowering

Morning Auto, like the Avitar. I generally try to stay away from foliar feeds during bloom, always concerned about bud mold.

Regarding your curled leaf photo, is it just the one leaf at this point? I also think I see a different leaf color on the side that is curling is that correct?

Can you tell us what fertilizers and supplements you are giving your plant? Also what is the pH of the water you are giving it and what is the pH of your runoff?

I can see two leaves that are curling from deferent tops and yes there is a color change little pale on edge of curled side
regarding fertilizers I bought them from my local store
i never test ph of my water and used RO water

Autos love calcium and magnesium and your RO water would be completely void of them. I would start using a cal/mag supplement with every watering

I am using eggshell boiled in water filtered before use and having a fertilizer magnesium sulphate and using power plant bloom which has phosphate for flowering and having npk fertilizer which is 19 19 19 but I stoped feeding npk as nitrogen is not good for flowering. Is it ok? As I live in India and it's difficult to get those fertilizer as else where

Here's what I got from the seller

Hi There,

I am sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the product you purchased, but as you are aware we sell these seeds solely for souvenir and storage purposes and we cannot discuss or be seen to be promoting flowering or germination.

Please contact the breeder directly with your query for any possible replacement.

Many Thanks,
Simona @ The Attitude

*Please note, due to the law in the UK, we sell these for souvenir purpose only and for no other use*

Gud morning AFN,
there is a gud news she definitely started flowering, as I can see pistils from top of every bud siteHop digity:woohoo:

Morning Auto, well morning for me anyway.

Great news on flowering, that was quick. Too bad on the response from Attitude but I would still try contacting the breeder, nothing to lose right?

Regarding the PowerPlant Bloom, I could not find anything on their website that gives the NPK content, sounds more like a booster made to be used in addition to a fertilizer. I would probably continue with your 19-19-19 at half or 1/3 strength in addition to the Bloom.

I am not sure the boiled egg shell water will contain enough calcium, can you find garden limestone? You may also want to see if you can find a bloom fertilizer made for orchids, it should have a higher P number that you could switch to instead of the 19-19-19. BTW, even in bloom your plants need some N just not as much as in the veg stage. Good luck

Gypsum is also a great calcium source and is more soluble in water than limestone if you can find it

Hi Auto the lime will work but let me get back to you on the amount. It is very alkaline so you will need to neutralize it with some vinegar. I have some on the farm so will do some experiments and let you know.

Any kind of hardwood ash will be high in K. Add about 3 tablespoons to a liter of boiling water, allow it to settle overnight, skim off anything floating and then pour off the clear liquid. The least step helps reduce any heavy metals present. Start off by adding about 1 teaspoon to your fertilizer water

Thanks oldster will be waiting on lime thing
