New Grower HELP..... first time grow leaves burning.

ok my plant is showing some new symptoms and i have no idea whats wrong but i did get a cheap pool ph test kit today and the runoff is reading between 7.2 and 7.5 my fresh rain water from today is exactly at 7.2. what should i do?

We'd need a good picture to see what your gal looks like, but if your pH readings are fairly close to true, you need to drop 'em down. I never could get good readings with the drops or strips; a good digital meter is much more accurate.
If you have 7.2 going in, and 7.2/7.5 run off, your soil will be at 7.2 or higher. Too alkaline!
You should be somewhere between 5.8 and 6.5.

new symptoms

here is some pics if anyone could help i would appreciate it. as of today it seems to be showing new symptoms.:help:

Well, I'm no worm (soil grower) meant as a compliment, however could be nute lockout because of the p.h issue. I'd consider flushing with lite nutrient solution, p.h'd of cousre then readjust nutes at next feeding. Hope that helps.,

I tend to agree, roarke (I prefer to be called "sodbuster" thank you!).
It looks like a few different things going on here.
Maximus, check out the easy dirt link in my signature for a simple, inexpensive grow medium. Soil is a science, and component ratios are very, very important. Before your next grow, I'd do a lot of research and prep. She may bounce back just fine, but I think you'll earn your buds on this one.
I'll keep tabs on how you're doing.:peace:

well i used some fish emulsion to bring the ph down and my runoff looks somewhere around 6.0 judging by the color i know these pool kits are not very accurate but its the best i can do at the moment. i drenched her pretty good the only thing i worry about is the fact i just watered yesterday and i don't want it to die from too much watering but my pot drains pretty well so i guess will see.

Excellent!
pH Up and pH Down are to good products to have, but all of my first grow was done with test drops and ACV.
Be sure to let her dry out really well. I try not to torture my gals any more, but when I think they need water, I usually give a day or so longer.
:karma Cloud: for your grow, Brother. We've all been there!

well first thing after i got out of bed this morning i ran to check on her and she looks healthier than she has in two weeks i can see growth and she stretched out quite abit in just a few short hours the yellowing foliage has actually greened up just a hair and the lime green parts are starting to darken back up so i'm guessing i was out right strangling her for nutes because she was locked up from such bad ph.
