Dang it!
I am going to be away for 4 days and decided to rig up my Autopot 2 pot system for while I'm gone but I can't find (or didn't receive) the 1/4" pipe!

What size is the 1/4" pipe exactly OD and ID?

If I can't buy it locally, I'll need to get 6' of it asap from Autopot USA.

Not sure what the actually diameter tubing comes with the autopots but think you should be able to get away with using Rain Bird 1/4" drip irrigation tubing from Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, Amazon

Thanks, apparently no 1/4" irrigation tubing is available at my local Lowes or Home Depot though It would be good to verify that this would work so I could at least go check.

Thanks, I saw that on Lowes site, it would be nice if someone could confirm this. I could go buy it today and calm down. As it is, my babies are going to be a bit early to have the Autopot system started but I have no other choice given the timing.
Think it's you 10 day new sprouts in the autopots. I know mine grown in coco at that time I'm only giving 500mls on day 5, 750ml-1L at day 10, 1L at day 15 I'm not watering everyday. You might be able to get away with watering your pots with 1L of nutes and be ok while your gone.

That would be good also.
As long as they are good for 4 days I'm ok with it...that would be simpler for me.

So far (On the one that's already in an Autopot) I've been watering from the top but only in the area of the sprout; not the whole pot. If I water/soak the whole pot do you think that would be ok? It wouldn't hurt anything? I just want to make sure that they have enough moist soil to survive 4 days. I guess if there is water in the bottom of the Autopot tray also that would help too.

This is the specs of the
Autopot - 6mm (4mm Internal Diameter) Black tubing

The Rain Bird specs are pretty close so should work
Outside Diameter: 0.25" (6.3 mm)
Inside Diameter: 0.17" (4.3 mm)

I knew that information existed but I searched and searched and couldn't find it!

Looks like I'm covered either way; tubing or just top watering.

When I top water I was about 3" away from sprout in a circle toward the outside edge of pot. I think you'll be fine with a soak for the 4 days
