Indoor Help required - Draining matt/tray Grow Space.

Hi all,

So basically I have been looking at options for putting a draining tray/board/matt at the bottom of my grow-drobe. I have this tray which is flexible, rubberised and waterproof.

It is literally the perfect fit and is ideal for what I need it for. Now... I am wanting to modify it by putting a draining hole at the bottom left corner so that I can drain and collect the water out of the space and into a tub or bucket however, I am struggling to find a screw/hose type fitting. I have looked at those plastic skin fittings for boats however I'm not overly sure.

I need something like the above but that will screw flat and flush, if you know what I mean?

Any help and ideas would be appreciated!

well i got the point but i cant help you because i dont have that "engineering" knowledge :D .. but looking in what you said this could be a good match!
i dont know, i would maybe make a hole like you said and put anything that can lead where it souhld lead it...im thinking some kind of plastic tube 7981465-24.jpg and glue it somehow.. but this screw/hose you attached are looking good to me, maybe glue it so nothing comes arround..

hope someone more experienced will help ;)
 
Might be to early for me to have any creative ideas. If you can't find the right spout, you could use a cooling rack on top of rubber tray. Drip spout wouldnt need to be flush then. A spout wouldn't even be needed, just a hole.
