Hey Everyone,

Need help with my sick girl! She is on day 14 now, i have given her nothing but ph'd water since being alive. She showed discoloration early on and i presumed it was a mutation. She hasnt gotten better, although growth still continues. She is now showing slight burning on the outside of her leaves which i am worried about.
Anyone got any ideas which might help?

That's some strange looking markings on the leaves and a few have only half the leaves showing problems. At 14 days there shouldn't be a nute def problem that bad. What soil mix is it and what type of lighting are you using and distance from canopy.

Could this be just variegation? Unless soil pH is seriously off or there is some disease, mold or rot in the rootzone. What is the soil pH, can we see the stem? How about does the soil smell bad if you peel the surface of it a bit?

I think it may be a K issue, heading to the grow store to pick some up.
Using LED lighting but they are 25" away from canopy. Using Canna Terra soil with added perlite. Got 2 other girls next to this one and they are in perfect in the exact same conditions.

now these other guys are totally right, it may be k def but why is the main question cause it shouldn't be a this stage but I will say that plant is kinda fuggin huge for only bein 14 days old, so there is that

:toke:-- hey Aus'... this isn't a K issue at all,.. you have color break that started from first leaves, right? I see some curled edges; what's the temp and RH in there? persitant color break is not a good sign,... 14 days old only you say? And no nutes? that edge necrosis isn't distinct enough to make a solid call on,... and color break isn't a defc. symptom... conflicting stuff here mate! My worry, however rare and unlikely, is a viral infection,...but usually this compromises vigor  ... Well, get us soil pH info, and maybe start weak nutes now,...

Hey everyone, i'm back with an update! Had something last minute come up and had to leave my girls with a carer for the past 8 days :-(. I cant give you any ph info for the soil, although i used canna terra and perlite mix. Girls were watered with ph'd plain water through veg (no nutes) and then was planning to began flower nutes when pre-flowering began. I added K at day 15 due to Derek's suggestion but it seemed to do little to affect the problem. Half dosed flower nutes have been added to water schedule since flowering began (other two plants are still on plain water). Below are updated pics of the problem. All girls sprouted within a day of one another, however the sick GSC has grown alot faster than the others. Other strains are Tha Shiznit and FB Pineapple Express.

straight -up baffled mate! I have no idea, beside just a genetic anomaly,... that it's growing well is the real kicker,... the symptoms are a mix of micronute defc. and mystery ailments, like the yellow leaf with green spots! this is one for the Anomaly thread,... no fix for this in any case... and viral isn't out IMO,...
