Help with yellow tips first grow

Happy Sunday,
Something to think about, I have hard water also (7.8) I have seedlings(not watering as much as you) so I fill my watering container and let it sit. First time I filled it I adjusted the PH to 6.0 let it sit and came back two days later, the PH was 7.5. Now I let the water sit and adjust the PH right before use, I am not using any nutes.
Good lesson to pass on to others. Always make your ph adjustments just before application. I looooove feeding over a couple of hours and that comes in to play.

Yeah I figured that myself when i once prepared too much water, i let it sit in my big open container and 2 days later PH was back as if I never adjusted it.

I think I read somewhere that contact with air make the PH increasing.

I gave my girls really light feeding plus I gave them an algua lithothamne or maerl, trying to give them some calcium and magnesium as i spotted some brown spots on one upper leave... Dunno if I was right but I have the feeling they're missing something , and also I'm lost in my ignorance, lol.

Thanks for your experience so far guyz

I have hard water also (7.8)

My tap water is quite hard within 7.9 - 8.5 range

Hard water refers to mineral content/EC/PPM, not the PH.

Not only do you have to worry about PH, or at least pay attention to it, if your TAP water is anything over .5EC standard nutrient dosings are going to burn the absolute shit out of your plant.

Do you have water spots on your chrome fixtures? You need to start out quarter strength or less. You can always add nutrients. Trust me, you don't want to be in a situation where you need to remove them, lol...

To be a grower that's worth a damn (and doesn't just use experience/luck and goes around screaming "YOU DONT NEED NO PH/EC METER" *Straw in mouth*) you need to buy a PH/EC meter. I use an Apera PC60. Not the PH60.

Don't be a fucking redneck! Be intelligent.

Let me rephrase...I have hard water in addition to a slightly hi ph 7.8

:greencheck: pH backing up after adjusting down, this IS the buffering effect,... in high mineral (CaCO3 mainly) content water, the pH will be alkaline,.. the carbonate/bicarbonate part of the molecule is what does the buffering, free Ca++ is not directly involved,.. not all the CaCO3 is dissociated in solution into it's component ions, and so isn't acting on pH in this form,.. but adding H+ (lowering the pH) in there will cause it to do so, releasing more carbonate into solution,.. carbonate takes on an H+ right away to become bicarbonate HCO3-,... it's more complicated than this actually, but I'm just painting the broad strokes here,... but this is why pH rises again in water with significant CaCO3 content,... now water just standing can pick up CO2 if it's not at max content for that temp and pressure already, and it reacts with water to form carbonic acid, hence a pH drop,... it's very very slight, likely only noticeable in pure water like rain, RO/Di, where little to no minerals are present,...keep in mind how little CO2 is in the atmosphere as is, like 0.04%!

Hey guyz, I'm back here for another piece of advice, here are shots from today and yesterday and i'm a little lost as for the global yellowing.
Not sure wether or not to use nutes to try to do something or keep it with plain water as harvest seems approaching even tho I don't really know how soon .

How many white pistols are left on the plants and have you checked the trychomes to see if there ready?

I would say as approxymately 20 - 30 % on one plant and 35-45 % on thé greener one i Will have no way to check trichs on this grow unfortunately

I'm back here wondering what to do with my girl I harvested her sister 3 week ago a little early and now i'm scared to harvest this one a little late :P

I got no way to check trichs but she definetely SHOULD be done but since the grow got staggered / stunted at some points .. well I really don't know .. what do you say ?
