You can buy a kilo of hemp seeds on amazon for £5 !
How to prepare.
1. Spread your seeds on a table, chopping board or whatever.
2. Put another board, or plate on top of the seeds.
3. Tap the whole surface area of the covering board/plate with a hammer or your hand or whatever.
4. Keep checking under the board until you see that msot of the seed shells have cracked.
5. Pour the whole lot into a container of water.
6. Stir for a few minutes, making sure it's a strong stir that breaks seed shells off.
7. The seed contents sink and the seed shells rise.
8. Skim the floating seed shells off.
9. Pour remaining contents through sieve into another container.
Job done !
All the best,
steely
