Now that I know LEDs actually work to grow weed it's time for the next change. Been a dirt grower for a long time. "Emily's Garden" was my first try at hydro years ago. Terrible results. Mainly because I didn't understand it.
Since I first came across Hempy's thread at ICmag I've wanted to try one of these and now's the time!
That's a 2.5 gallon Sterilite waste basket. There's a 3/8" hole a couple inches from the bottom. Hydroton to just above the hole, then Perlite/Verm 3 or 4 to 1. Since the wisdom is to start auto seeds in the final container I cut the bottom off a yogurt cup, poked it down into the mix, scooped it out and filled it with seed starting mix. The clear cup makes it a little greenhouse.
Soaked a Fast and Vast seed overnight and poked 'er in this morning. Let's see what happens!
