What size tub is that looks like less then 10 gal ? In my exp 2 plants fill a 10 gal tub fast with roots So you might want to think about that. What I would do is get a 10 gal tub from walmart or a dollar store and cut 3 holes on top for netpots to fit in use 2 for plants and ues the 3rd as a window when you need to top up or take a sample to check ph/ppm ect and use that 6 plant tub for a cloner. Just my 2 cents But with a 10 gal tote and a scrog your going to be shocked at what you can end with. You dont want autos to have to shallow/small of a rez when the roots hit the bottom/wall they start flower no matter how big she is.
Welcome to AFN. I am on day 70 on 2 Jock Horrors and 1 bubblelicious. I just harvested my first Bubblelicious plant! Here is my grow journal. autoflower.net/forums/f35/hi-all-my-first-af-grow-37161.html#post701017
I will be starting new beans in about 5 weeks. One of my JH is alittle sick but I am bringing her back to life. My other one is doing awesome! Any questions about this breed just ask me. This is one of my favorite tasting plants. I have smoked it before but this is my first grow. Good luck and welcome.
About to start my first grow...had a question about starting seeds in hydro system..should I start the germination process in my system since from what I've been reading autos don't like the transplant transition...or would it be cool to start in germination kit?
I can't swear by these enough!! RAPID ROOTERS!RAPID ROOTERS! RAPID ROOTERS!!! So worth it. They put rockwool to shame plus you don't have to worry about the PH in a rapid rooter. I have used these for a few months and I have never seen roots grow so fast. I am doing a DWC tote and my taproot was out in 3 days! I am telling you RAPID ROOTERS! Start a 5 gallon bucket with 8-10" net pots and a air stone. You can set up your own DWC Hydro system for around 50 bucks. 2-5 bucks per 5 gallon bucket. 10 bucks for a 50 gallon 2 output air pump at Walmart. 2-3 bucks for air stones. 10-15 bucks for clay pebbles. Choose you lighting. I am using a 400 Watt MH/HPS which cost me 80 bucks used at my hydro shop. I am using Dyna Gro Nutes and for the price this product works great. I will be switching to General Hydroponic 3 part Nutes for my next grow but he Dyna Gro worked great! The lightbulbs are about 20 bucks a piece. I hope this helps
